I swear to the Gods and Goddesses, they disallowed Blue Moon on this mission because of Grit. Holy fuck this mission wont be a tiresome if you could use Grit Battleships

I usually take the first few days from the video and after that I do whatever I want. A good headstart always works, maybe not for an S rank but for beating the mission
I got a perfect S-rank in this mission years ago. I can't remember how but I was able to overpower Hawke through the front and blast the pipe seam with an Eagle Bomber. Not as fast in this video as I swarmed him with lots of Bombers and Neotanks, lol. Probably got lucky but that felt amazing for me as a kid.
Kanbei is too expensive in the early parts of the game and there's no Airport ready for Sensei. Usually I use Sonja to back door the pipe seam with the battleship
Sensei loses 10% attack on rockets, so it would take him three turns to destroy a pipe/cannon with a rocket at full hp, though I messed up so it didn't really matter. I would've cleaned it up in subsequent playthroughs, but there's only so many times you can play a difficult 30 minute mission against an annoying CO before you just want to move on to the next level. Maybe some day I'll come back to AW2 and optimize/speedrun it once I'm done with AW1 and maybe DoR.

my team was Eagle Sami and Kanbei and good thing is i have 98 power and 100 technique and speed, not perfect but at least i win with my own strategy

I use sensei because of his extra 1 movement on transport.
You get +1 movement, but his weaker Rockets require an extra turn to attack the pipe seam. Not worth it.
@@L00SEG00SE but it reaches the island one turn earlier than sonja so the day difference is the same.
