To be honest, Jokic is a bit like Prince. He'd rarely go on talk shows but when he did, it's a big deal.
Playing hard to get really works.😂
Cuz dude is dominating the game as a big doing things we've never seen bigs do at a high level. He can post up, he can play make at a high level and he can shoot from anywhere on the court. He's like if Larry Bird was a center.
Charles: “Joker’a pretty man. Whenever I am around him, and he talks to me, I can’t remember anything”
Shaq: he’s “gorgious”
@@cyberbron2024 Its actually true.
He really plays like a larger Bird. Crazy now you mention it.
And Bird is somehow still not rated adequately imo. Has been turning as of late.
Jokic is also getting his due right now.
The players, coaches and execs all know … Jokic is special. He does not have bad games, he stays healthy, he makes his teammates better, he does everything except sell drama. You can tell Shaq was truly impressed with his game and has true respect. He doesn’t give up props to big men ever, to welcome him into the big man alliance is actually meaningful, as much as he joked about it
And Jokic truly appreciates the honor. What a great thing to be watching happen live! This will be all part of the legend one day, and i’m happy to witness it
he do have bad games... but his bad games look like other players best games :D
Lmao a “bad game” from him would be like 20+ points, about 12 rebounds and 7 assists 😭
This is the moment when Shaq gives Jokic the Big Fella nickname. Shaq is feeling like a proud father on the inside.
the respect he has for the Heat and what they did and acknowledging that is such a great thing. there are no losers in this series!!
Shaq and Jokic' relationship is so wholesome.
I love how Shaq is showing the Joker respect. I think Shaq is amazed by how good the Joker is even though he is not traditionally athletic.
What??? Why you think that Shaq is better than him??? We should all respect each other.

@rano jutro I love the Joker....he reminders me of myself. Not traditionally athletic but still awsome because he is smart and loves the game. @@ranojutro426 please take a deep breath dude, relax everything is all right
How can you not cheer for this dude. He’s sucha genuine person and also a very very great ball player. Go Nuggets!

For Shaq to say that man. It just shows how good Jokic is.
I’ll be honest, I was hurt that they swept the lakers, but this man is just on a different level
I like how supportive Jokic is of his team. Gotta give them their moments when they are on fire
What a player Jokic is. Can’t wait to watch this guy for another 10+ years

06:49, the look in Joker's eyes when Shaq is giving him his props & blessing him....that's what it's all about! Dude is truly humbled & moved. For a Serbian, that's about as emotional as it gets. Lol! He respects the game & its history so much, you know he's geeked out! He might not sleep tonight, just thinking about this moment. I think Joker is about to go out here & sweep these Miami boys after that. No disrespect to Jimmy, Spo, & Heat Culture, but the torch has officially been passed. It's Joker's League now.

Wow. Shaq's praise of Jokic - very special. Very well video'd as well, folks. That was basketball gold right there. Well done.
Nikola Jokic is honestly a big talent in basketball. Triple double for the umpteenth time. Strong work ethics and unselfish. A good role model for everyone.
Doesn't flash guns around or say stupid political garbage either.

If I learned one thing about Jokic from this interview, its that he's being honest

The humbleness of this man is so refreshing.
What makes Nikola special is that he respects and never underestimates his opponents, yet crushes them when it comes down to it.
That's on the edge of being emotional... It's wonderful seeing Shaq excited, but even more Chuck, literally the only one in America giving credit to the nuggets, he knows that Jokic knows... A brief hug, and big honey Jok who clearly is dreaming to hang out with those guys without just talking about basketball, trying to stay serious and coherent with his role... I loved this 6:16 look at that Chuck smile
At least these 2 have always given the Nuggets and Jokic his props
Focused, not letting his guard down because he doesn't wanna underestimate his opponent. No drama, just pure game.
How elite ball should be played💯 nothing better

I cannot imagine what happened when Shaq met his big brothers, cause in Serbia Shaq is a legend, and bothres are borderline crazy.
Boris Diaw is super underrated. That’s crazy that Jokic mentioned him when speaking on who he watched.
Probably partly because Boris is from France so another European player he probably met often. But Boris was a great passer and has some similarities to Jokic.

Also, he mentioned him during his MVP acceptance interview at his stables with ITNBA.

The reason why nobody didn't think they would make it this far is because the last couple season Jokic didn't have help. Murray & Porter they both kept getting hurt. Jokic still took them to the playoffs but kept getting knocked out. NOW, the key pieces he needs are healthy.
