I read a comment here from an Indian expressing like he felt offended with this vlog, please don’t be offended Brother, Francis is not messing up with your country for showing this side of India as you said, it’s rather educational/informative and he’s saying nice things about your country, culture, and people. Personally his videos made me appreciate India more, since I was a kid, my brother and I love to listen to Indian music, watch Bollywood movies and music videos with great dance choreography. Maybe you misunderstood because the language used is Tagalog/Filipino and I understand where you are coming from, good thing his next vlog has English subtitles. Peace out.✌️❤️
We are not offended, it just disturbing when someone visit your country you don't expect them to see and explore the worst parts. All the travels come to India and only interested in poor people or poor area and slums. India has a lot of beautiful areas to explore and a lot of heritage places to see being an old culture

This is a good outsourcing strategy to provide income for the poor. Great India. India has a high income disparity like in the Philippines too. What is challenging here is their huge, huge population second to China. Btw, there is a huge number of billionaires in India - Oligarchs are also high in India similar to the Philippines. Also, India has a huge number of geniuses in their population - Most of their genius citizens are working with Silicon Valleys in the US. If India and the Philippines could only seriously copy the Poverty Alleviation and Corruption strategy designed by China, it would be great. With China's 1.4 Billion, you can no longer see a single homeless in the street of China. Imagine yourself, 800 Million Chinese people were lifted from poverty to middle class and upper class family status. Great content Francis. Don't know much about Philippines. But chinese strategy is hard to copy in India. China is much bigger in size so population density is very less. Also India is a democracy. So any chinese style strategy will be challenged by really big protests from opposition party.

China have lifted around 800 M over a period of probably 50 years whereas India also lifted around 400M people form poverty in 30 years.....so we have done a lot but a lot more to do

Mumbai is place for many people across country to earn there daily bread!!!!

Noong araw may portion din sa Mandaluyong na ganyan. Tabi-tabing mga bahay na tumatanggap ng labada sa malalaking kumpanya malapit sila sa tabing ilog sa Bsrangay Jolo malapit sa Guadalupe. Noong 1980's may ilang mga buhay pa hanggang naging babuyan na lang yung mga labahan nila tapos yung iba naging mga bahay na kalaunan. Siguro may mga bumbay din na nag settle sa Mandaluyong noon at tinuloy na lang mga decendants nila.
At the riverside there is a tradition that if a fishing boat passes by, the people will holler and greet the passing boats and a man will emerge from the boat and will throw large fishes at the people. Again that tradition had died away along with the laundry businesses. I think sailors and fishermen are big customers for the laundry businesses.

Naaalala ko ang vibes ng recto sa kanya particularly yung mga kabahayan malapit sa manila city jail at yung dating vibes ng underpass ng recto na puro mananahi. Gamit nila sa washing machine is winch tapos yung dryer na sinasabi mo ay extractor.
Nag work ako dati sa textile company GANYAN ang gamit, Ang tawag jan extractor ang drier na gamit tube yun pahiga naman yun, anyway very nice video informative

Noong araw may portion din sa Mandaluyong na ganyan. Tabi-tabing mga bahay na tumatanggap ng labada sa malalaking kumpanya malapit sila sa tabing ilog sa Bsrangay Jolo malapit sa Guadalupe. Noong 1980's may ilang mga buhay pa hanggang naging babuyan na lang yung mga labahan nila tapos yung iba naging mga bahay na kalaunan. Siguro may mga bumbay din na nag settle sa Mandaluyong noon at tinuloy na lang mga decendants nila.
At the riverside there is a tradition that if a fishing boat passes by, the people will holler and greet the passing boats and a man will emerge from the boat and will throw large fishes at the people. Again that tradition had died away along with the laundry businesses. I think sailors and fishermen are big customers for the laundry businesses.

Wow this is the first time to see a laundry place, ...Dati may ka chat ako na indian sabi nia kinukuha daw nung laundryman ung damit ng bawat ng renter sa building dhil kasama din daw iyon sa binabyaran nila.ganyan pala itsura ng place☺ sabi nia 200 rupees pero di ko alm kung ilang damit iyon kasi hindi daw batay sa timbang ang bayad. Ang galing machine, first time ko makakita niyan.hihihi
