Okay from the experience because I'm not only made a recipe very very similar to this one just in different proportions. And as long as you refrigerate this after you use it it will stay just fine for up to 30 days and probably longer however that is just the recommended time and so I say stick with that but there's nothing in there that's going to go poison you after 24 hours.

you could use jasmine oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, or olive oil but you dont need to add coconut oil its just something to hydrate
