Thank you ;) Yes, Roland has always been my “synth” favourites.. although I’ve had the Dx7 and the M1 as well just to have som “harder and brighter” sound to my live setup as well ;)
That we really called studio heaven:) nice to get knowing your working of music place Glenn awesome thanks for sharing. yes will be nice to see how you connect and make a song from scratch.
Wonderful studio! How I wish I didn't sell my original Juno 106 from back in the mid 80s. That was my first 'real' synth followed by the Moog Rogue (no Midi) mono synth.,,....
Thanks for posting! Amazing setup. I had the Poly-61 years ago, and traded it for an ESQ-1. Recently getting back into synths loving the Jupiter-X. It's amazing to have all of those classic synth sounds in one. I've always wanted a JD-800, so I was so happy when they released that expansion. Cheers!
Jesus, so many synths, what a mess, haha ... But you have them perfectly alined with the room, so you can actually use them without going to Mount Everest for every song. 😄😄 😄 There is one or two synths I would add to your mega arsenal: Yamaha An1x - you must buy this one, you'll like it, it's a beast, and then maybe Korg Prophecy or Yamaha RS 7000 ... But Yamaha An1X is a must in my opinion. It's a fat, nasty crazy synth, good for ideas ... It shows you're an artists and not a show off, the synth collection is spot on. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh yes 😃 Roland is my favourite synths when it comes to retro synth sounds. I also have KORG stuff… but in my opinion they sound a bit “harder”. So on live gigs I use to mix Roland and KORG 👍😃
Wonderful setup and I’m happy to have discovered your channel. You’re like a mellower version of Espen Kraft (that’s a complement}. Looking forward to more videos.
Thank you so much 😊 I am also a big fan of Espen’s channel, and I have spoken to him a few times as well. He is a great guy:) And I really take it as a compliment too :)
Thanks for the tour....Nice Setup...I believe You should purchase a Korg Wavestate based on my assessment of Your tastes....The atmospheric context of this synth would fit well with Your setup....
Hi Glenn, I really love your channel... and your studio! I have a vaguely similar setup at home where my biggest problem is dust. So I was just wondering if you had any tips on keeping those fabulous synths dust free and clean? Thank you :)
😃🤔 Hmmm.. Thats a hard one, But i am still in love with my Good Old Roland JX8p .. But still i love also my Jupiter 80x Jupiter XM , Korg Kronos… and of course the JD800… … each and every one has its own history ;) 😃😃😃
Awesome vid Glenn! I just came across this vid after watching other studio tours and found it quite informative. One question though...what are the specs of your macbook pro? 🤔
It’s all about personal taste I believe. And what genre you play, what synths you have before this one.. I would like to have both 🤣🤣 But to be honest, I do believe the JP80 has more “real sounds” as the Jupiter is more a “synth” although you also have access to lots of acoustic sounds as well… it’s all about taste 😃
Oh yes 😃🤘😃 Ever since i made music with my Yamaha Qx 21 with Roland Tr 505 and Yamaha dx21 and Roland Jx8P , midi has been ny «best friend»… and now with This setup….omg 😂😂 By the way.. i Will join you for the jam again :) Making something tonight or tomorrow… and a retro shirt this time 🤘😃🤘 Rock in man !
😃 I don’t have a Nord now.. I used to own the G2, but I sold it. And I forgot to show the Yamaha TX7 (DX7 module). I have various mics in my vocal boot.. all depending on who is doing the singing ;) A buyer’s guide would be nice except from the synths you can’t “buy” new anymore..:) I will make some more info videos in the future as well :)
Yeah this studio is definitely not wife friendly. 😂 Just counting the number of Juno 106 that you have (JU-06, JU-06 A, Jupiter XM, actual Juno 106, and I bet Roland Cloud), wow. Question, no love for the Yamaha? 🤔
… and in this video you only see one side of the studio LOL 😂 Check out my “studio tour” video here on my channel… and you will understand why I never got married 😂😂 The only Yamaha I have is the TX7 (DX7 module) and a Yamaha Cp 80…so I like the Yamaha too, but lately I have turned into a “Roland” boy. I think that they represent how my 80’s sounds like 😃😃 Of course I use the El.Piano and the bass from the TX7 😃😃😃
Those old Roland keyboards sound amazing when they work but they are way to much work for Me that even if was to see one for a good price I'd probably turn it down.
Just out of interest, do the interfaces come in different languages or is it always English? (I bet most of your gear has a Japanese language version - does anyone know?)
I am not sure of that, but all Roland gear has a download for Japanese, German , English , French and a couple of other languages. If you can switch inside the interface I am not sure… 😃
Oh yes :)
Glenn you have a very nice studio! I can see you’re a bit of a Roland fan as well. I love Roland sounds. Great content as always man👌
Thank you ;) Yes, Roland has always been my “synth” favourites.. although I’ve had the Dx7 and the M1 as well just to have som “harder and brighter” sound to my live setup as well ;)

Wonderful studio! How I wish I didn't sell my original Juno 106 from back in the mid 80s. That was my first 'real' synth followed by the Moog Rogue (no Midi) mono synth.,,....
I also sold a couple of synths that I still regret selling… Like the poly six and the JP8080… 😃😂
Thanks for the tour !!!!
My pleasure 😃😃
Thanks for posting! Amazing setup. I had the Poly-61 years ago, and traded it for an ESQ-1. Recently getting back into synths loving the Jupiter-X. It's amazing to have all of those classic synth sounds in one. I've always wanted a JD-800, so I was so happy when they released that expansion. Cheers!
The expansion for the Jupiter XM is fantastic. Sounds just like the original 😃😃😃 Once a synth freak… always a synth freak 😃😃😃 I know the feeling 😂

Thank you so much 😊
Go ahead. Big Dog! 😎
looking at the guys that have these many synths makes me feel better for the 4 I have :)
+Rafael Graterol - Its a «bad habit” to have more than 4 😂😂 Or maybe an illness 😂😂
You have alot of Roland gear, very cool.
Oh yes 😃 Roland is my favourite synths when it comes to retro synth sounds. I also have KORG stuff… but in my opinion they sound a bit “harder”. So on live gigs I use to mix Roland and KORG 👍😃

A man and his toys, ah yes 😎
Oh yes 😊😎
Thanks for the tour....Nice Setup...I believe You should purchase a Korg Wavestate based on my assessment of Your tastes....The atmospheric context of this synth would fit well with Your setup....
Oh yes :) I have tried out that synth… and it is really a great synth 😃😃😃
Too many keyboards is never enough...Great video! Jb ☆
Never 😃😃 Want more !! 😂😂😂
Hi Glenn, I really love your channel... and your studio! I have a vaguely similar setup at home where my biggest problem is dust. So I was just wondering if you had any tips on keeping those fabulous synths dust free and clean? Thank you :)
Thank you so much 😊
I try to use my “dust cleaner” as much as I can… but I should have dust covers for my gear ..😎😎
🎹🎹🎹 outstanding synth collection 🎹🎹🎹 congratulations
Thank you so much 😊 I tried to save the best 😃😃😃
Fantastisk! Tak!
😃😃😃
Amazing setup :)
Thanx man 🤘😃
What, no Hydrasynth? :) Thanks for the great walkthrough. I am getting closer to needing patchbays as well. Keep up the freat work.
Nope… no Hydrasynth… there is no more space .. LOL 🤩
Thanx man :)
nice if you share a chapter of your software set too with your daw.
I will :)
Wow, I would love to have HALF the synths you have, LOL. Which ones are your top 5?
15-inc 2018 , 2,g GHz intel i7 , 32 gig ram :-)
Nice to see you again Yannaki :-)
👏👏👏👍👍👍Good!
+Artin - Thanx 😃😃😃😃
Very nice! I'm not so much a Roland fan as I am a Korg fan though. Still, Roland makes great synths!
I am a fan of both brands, I think the deifference betwen them blends so good togehter. Every synth has its own unique sound I belive :-)
Hi What do uou think about jp80? It S worth?or it S a better choice the jupiter x
It’s all about personal taste I believe.

Midi is a good thing, right? :) Nice video man!
Thank you for this great tour Glenn! I really enjoyed this very much!
Nothing from Yahama or Nord? (Or M Audio for that matter?) What mic is in the sound booth? How about doing a buyer's guide?
😃 I don’t have a Nord now.. I used to own the G2, but I sold it. And I forgot to show the Yamaha TX7 (DX7 module). I have various mics in my vocal boot.. all depending on who is doing the singing ;) A buyer’s guide would be nice except from the synths you can’t “buy” new anymore..:)

Thank you so much, yes I just love it 😃😃
Those old Roland keyboards sound amazing when they work but they are way to much work for Me that even if was to see one for a good price I'd probably turn it down.
Yes they sound great, but it is much easier to use plugins… but I guess it is a collection aspect to it as much as use 😃😃
Hello sir I wanna to learn music from you.. u r great...
Thank you so much 🙏🏽😃🙏🏽
