I can’t make it past 50 subs because people keep unsubscribing and other people subscribe so my subscribers keeps going up and down. It kind of is sad.
So true I got one video with just 700 views 5 subs but the shorts for the same video got over 55k views and over 150 subs and counting 👍 great video Dan

I also cut my main video in smaller parts to upload as shorts. Only I got like 500 vieuws and 1 or 2 subscribers by every short. But I know it is a start, and we all have to start somewhere 😁

I love making shorts! I do them about landscaping. The problem is that most of my subscribers are also only interested in watching my shorts which makes it tough to get the public watch hours for long format.

This is super cool, I just wonder how much friction you run in to in this process due to the original video being framed as landscape? Like how many moments can't really be captured in 9:16? I just started my channel and I was actually hoping to take my longer form videos and pull shorts out of them, but I couldn't figure out how to frame things in a way that natrually worked for both. So I've actually been making my videos in 9:16 from the start to experiment with what works for the algo as I learn.
When it comes to shorts I find that those who subscribe are more likely to unsubscribe but those who subscribe after viewing long form video stay subscribed. Another awesome video Dan even though on my channel 52% of viewers are watching long form videos and only 19% are watching my shorts so I will focus more on long form videos. Love 🥰 the video and love ❤Dan.

Yeah it's a good tool but the problem is that u need to pay to make shorts from a video, and small creator maybe can't invest money on that. guess i'll keep doing the "classic way" by re-watching my vid like 3-4 time while editing hoping to find some good gameplay clip to post as short
You can also cut the main video yourself? I use another program that is free. But i think i can't write the name down here. And when you post it as short, don't forget to put the option related video to your main video.
