🛺 Driving film - From Rochegude, Saint-André de Cruzières to Saint-Paul Le Jeune - South of France

(EN) Here's a long and beautiful drive through the overheated plains of the Gard department. The route passes through the small towns of Rochegude, Saint-Jean de Maruéjols and Avéjan, Saint-Sauveur de Cruzières, Saint-André de Cruzières and Saint-Paul le Jeune. In Saint-Paul, I have trouble finding a place to stop, so I go a little further on.
It's a tourist area of the Gard. This is understandable, as the small villages are isolated and beautiful. You regularly come across motorcycles, enjoying the endless twists and turns and the fine weather. It's a nice little ride in the hinterland of southern France, where the cicadas sing.

(FR) Voici un long et très beau trajet réalisé dans les plaines surchauffées du département du Gard. Le trajet traverse les petites villes de Rochegude, Saint-Jean de Maruéjols et Avéjan, Saint-Sauveur de Cruzières, Saint-André de Cruzières, Saint-Paul le Jeune. A Saint-Paul je peine à trouver un lieu pour m'arrêter et je vais un peu plus loin.
C'est un secteur touristique du Gard. C'est compréhensible car les petits villages sont isolés et de toute beauté. On croise régulièrement des motos, qui profitent de ces interminables tournants et du beau temps. C'est un petit trajet qui fait du bien, dans l'arrière pays du sud de la France, où chantent les cigales.
