Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

Yes, there are ways to use the heat from the exhaust of a generator. This process is commonly referred to as waste heat recovery. Here are a few applications:
    1. **Combined Heat and Power (CHP):** This system uses the heat generated by the exhaust of the generator for heating purposes in addition to generating electricity. It's efficient for buildings that require both power and heat.
    2. **Pre-heating:** The exhaust heat can be used to pre-heat combustion air for the generator itself or other industrial processes, improving overall energy efficiency.
    3. **Heat-driven cooling:** Absorption chillers can use the heat to provide cooling, converting waste heat into useful cooling energy.
    4. **Desalination:** In some systems, exhaust heat can be used to produce fresh water from seawater, particularly useful in remote or arid locations.
These methods not only utilize energy that would otherwise be wasted but can also significantly reduce overall fuel consumption and emissions.

you can further utilize the heat from a generator's exhaust to produce additional electricity through several technologies:
    1. **Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC):** This technology uses an organic fluid with a low boiling point to convert heat into mechanical energy, which then drives a generator to produce electricity. It's particularly effective with low to medium temperature heat sources like generator exhaust.
    2. **Thermoelectric Generators (TEGs):** These devices generate electricity directly from heat differentials using the Seebeck effect. While they typically have lower efficiency and power output compared to other methods, they are very reliable and can be useful in small-scale applications.
    3. **Steam Turbines:** If the heat output is sufficiently high, it can be used to generate steam that drives a turbine to produce additional electricity. This method is common in large-scale industrial settings.
    4. **Stirling Engines:** These engines can convert heat energy into mechanical power by compressing and expanding air or other gases at different temperatures. This mechanical power can then be used to generate electricity.
These methods enable the conversion of waste heat into additional electric power, enhancing the overall efficiency of the energy generation process.

Try using a car radiator or some other big radiator that would fit in a cooler, have the cooler filled with ice water and drill holes for the hose so you don't have to lave it open. You will get amazing cooling with this, you just gotta keep supplying ice as the heat exchange will be extra efficient.

It is interesting that you have only 3 pounds of plastic in a reactor that can easily hold 8 tons [16,000 lbs].
Just think: when you scale up [such as adding more magnetrons] you can massively increase production, since a whole lot of your EM energy is being wasted on the large open cavity of the reactor vessel.
That vessel, in theory, should be holding about a ton of plastic and half a ton of recirculated carbon feedstock minimum to take proper advantage of the energy being fed into it.
This is based mainly on its volume, and the spread [area of dispersed EM radiation saturation] of the magnetrons.
In fact, you may want to read up on how to build your own cyclotrons [its a much more powerful form of microwave emitter which works mostly like a magnetron, but it has fewer parts, can emit and handle far higher power, and is almost impossible to 'burn out' (unlike microwave oven dipole magnetrons which can arc and burn rather easily)]
Admittedly, they are a lot less easy than just scrapping out some used microwave ovens, but if you are hoping to get super high intensity power focused at the plastic, they will far outperform magnetrons.
Also, since they emit electrons, they can really do some massive splitting of larger molecules into smaller ones, especially for the amount of power introduced.
And, while, honestly, I do not think anybody has ever used them for smashing plastic, the REALLY BIG ones are used for smashing ATOMS.
So they can really deliver some good power if built and tuned properly.
Here is a potential starting point to look into it.

I feel like you may be cracking some of the polymers directly into ethane and propylene gas. I’d suggest if you want to power it on gas you should invest in a battery bank as well. Then you can run the generator on stored gas and then store the energy for the initial startup of the next run. For the condenser, you should try to make a column tower to distill different temperature solvents. I’d also suggest a lot of fire extinguishers lol since you have essentially a refinery.

I think its time to start weighing stuff for data. E.g. how much plastic in and oil/gas out, and how much carbon in and carbon out. Also a chance to start segregating plastics by type and running at different power setting. This lets you know which recipes make what products. Assuming very little stuff escaped to atmosphere, what mass that isnt carbon and isnt oil, is basically the mass of gas. (Since gas may be tricky to weigh)

there are a few additional methods to consider for converting waste heat from generator exhaust into usable electricity:
    1. **Kalina Cycle:** Similar to the Organic Rankine Cycle, the Kalina Cycle uses a mixture of water and ammonia as the working fluid. It operates at varying temperatures and pressures to extract maximum energy from heat sources, potentially offering higher efficiencies than the ORC.
    2. **Supercritical CO2 Cycles:** This method uses carbon dioxide in a supercritical state as a working fluid in a closed-loop system. Supercritical CO2 cycles can achieve higher thermal efficiencies due to their favorable thermodynamic properties.
    3. **Heat Pumps:** Although primarily used for heating and cooling, heat pumps can be designed to generate electricity by harnessing thermal energy from the exhaust and converting it to mechanical or electrical energy through various mechanisms.
    4. **Hybrid Systems:** Combining multiple heat recovery technologies (like ORC with TEGs) can maximize electricity production from waste heat. These systems can be tailored to the specific thermal characteristics of the exhaust.
These advanced methods can further enhance the utilization of waste heat for generating electricity, contributing to more sustainable and efficient energy management.

I hardly understand a thing about what you are talking about regarding physics and technology, but it seems to me you are working on something that could solve one of earths biggest issue. Stay safe. Wish you success.

    Good job,❤
Next you can mix rubber tiers like 10% with plastic and carbon.
Check for any leaking gasses near the microwave power supply ( connection points ).
    Good luck
