Seriously we push out babies and get right back into the routine of mom, wife, chef, driver, cleaner, laundry etc. A man gets a cold and it's "him-fluenza"!😂

He’s five and he was born premature and it helps with his confidence!
What ever you do, get out of the house!! We did a reno, in winter in CALIFORNIA. We both got so sick, we had us and all the pets in one room. No kitchen, no floors. No bathroom, demo crap all over the place. We nearly killed each other! It was freezing inside our house. It was horrible. Go and get an AirBnb or an extended stay. Go every day and check and see what they have done and that the work is getting completed correctly. And make it obvious you’re watching them. It just keeps them motivated to finish. And good luck!!
My husband booked a message for me for Mother's Day a couple years ago. Oh man, a 60+ min massage - nothing like it! I've never felt so relaxed! Believe I'm going to need another one this coming Mothers Day LOL. Self-care is VERY important for mommas, and I think it's awesome how much you promote that on your channel!

I think that's awesome that Tanner was in preschool making cards for the elderly, I work at a nursing home that's more like a home than a facility. I am a cna and we love our residents and we see cards and pictures from children in schools and churches all the time hanging on their walls, the residents are very proud of them. I love your channel, such an inspiration, God bless y'all.

I am an activities aid/cna at our local nursing home we have everyone from memory care, end of life, Rehabilitation, independent long term , I have been there for 15 years and I can not express enough how much joy children and animals bring to them all, it is amazing. Especially around the holiday season with the decorations triggering memories. Your kids would definitely brighten their day. Just contact the Activities Director to be sure due to the cold and flu season of course . We currently have a 2 year old that is a volunteer once a month, dogs, and even farm animals ( literally a donkey and miniature ponies) lol! Our local boy and girl scouts as well its so much fun!!

You should check out Homewood Inn and Suites! If there is one near you. They have suits where you can have your own bedroom. There is a full kitchen and they serve wine and dinner Monday through Thursday I believe. Plus continental breakfast. The last time I stayed at one they had a basketball court and a little Putt-Putt green for the kids it was the best hotel for family that I've ever been to!!!

Our school district has the STARS program and two of our kiddos go after school and volunteer at the local nursing home twice a month. They do crafts and hang out. My kids LOVE it! A win win situation for everyone for sure!!!

Couldn’t know because of all tension I feel in my body over sleep deprivation and just constant run. Totally understand what you meant!!! Highly recommend getting an airbnb during your renovations!! You can rent someone's house or apartment with a kitchen so you don't have to spend a ton of money on food and they are cheaper than hotels.
Mommas you better take care of yourself. I raised three wonderful kids but I never took care of myself and now at 40 my health is pretty bad. Take time for you.

Self care is so so important for sure! I totally understand the feeling of being a referee. My kids (I have 4) had a 4 day weekend and then today they had a delay for school due to snow and I wanted to cry because I’ve been so desperate for that breather 😬😂
When my kids were little I would go to bed right after them! Like fully asleep by 8:30pm! Don’t feel bad about going to bed early. You probably need to do that more.

Haha....that first one was a Marriott? My favorite is A TownePlace Suites. When we go away, I always need the basic kitchen and theirs seemed to be the best. They also have options for one or two bedrooms, which helps with some separation! You don't need to feel obligated to sleep when the kids go to bed! :)

Love everything about this day in the life! I don't think any age is to young to start volunteering! Something I've done w my littles is Christmas shop for someone else, my oldest was 3 her and I went shopping for a little girl at her preschool. Fast forward to now, my daughter is now 13 and last year she actually chose to give up her gifts she would have received to another child at her school.
