Did Musa (AS) speak the Word of god or did he retell the Words of GOD? I thought that Muhammed (AS) spoke the Word of God perfectly, The Quran. I just think reciting The Holy Quran is speaking the Word of God. If we understand it or not, that is something else.
Haytem Haider bro, be careful with what you're saying. He spread the word of Allah, in a sense re telling but so did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Did God not send him the verses of the Quran to recite to the Sahabas? To the people in Mecca and Medina (and later across the world?). Don't we retell what Rasulallah did to our children?
Atomic Bell. That is what I am thinking. God put his own Word in the heart of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and these Words are holy and not changing. In case of Musa (AS), he Heard the Word of God and spread it. What he is hearing is Holy and Pure. But Prophet Muhammed is what he recited is Holy and Pure. Do you know what I mean? That is the miracle of Prophet Musa (AS) he could hear God. Or am I mistaken? Please help me understand this. I wish not to be among the ignorant.
Haytem Haider brother Quran is exactly the word of Allah ,the holy prophet conveyed it to us in the exact same words but other things he said in daily life and while explaining Quran were not the exact words of Allah but whatever he said was by the permission and guideline of Allah, same was the case of Musa( AS) and all other prophets,i hope that helped
Haytem Haider one more thing,it is not like the prophets could "hear" Allah, Musa (AS) did speak to him but the voice was coming from a tree,we can not say that the voice was the voice of the Lord of the heavens and the earth .we can not associate the voice to Allah just as we can not associate any human like qualities to Allah such as eating, sleeping etc.Messages were sent to prophets through angles or they were in the form of "ilham" (a thought that just comes to ones mind )from Allah.Prophet Muhammad (saw) also conversed with Allah at the occasion of Mairag but again the voice was "from" Allah but not His.Occasions such as hearing something from Allah were rare, mostly angles and ilham were used
