If you're curious for some context on why I posted this relatively unpolished recording - this is the first time I've sung with a live pianist since January of 2020! My teacher arranged for a pianist to come to my lesson as a last minute but very welcome surprise. This recording isn't perfect, of course, but honestly I don't think any recording could truly capture the energy we felt in the room.
Also, there are a few cuts as this footage is taken from a lesson where we were stopping and starting. In order to post a complete version of the aria, I ended up having to edit a few different takes together but I really wanted to present the piece in its entirety.
