"There's an ugly connotation with science fiction" What what?? Sci-fi is the best genre ever! The very first reason I had to watch Orphan Black was the fact that it's a Sci-fi TV Show. It has a lot of science in the story and a lot of conspiracy, that's Sci-fi. Even better, cause it's Biopunk which is a subgenre I don't think many people have explored yet and Orphan Black reinvented it! It worked with biology instead of Physics or technology and it made history!

Plus, Sci-fi is telling human stories along with working with science. It's not just having science talk. Star Trek The Original Series has done that many times!
