Excellent video Josh !!!!
Brilliant stuff Josh!
Is there the possibility to change the background using maybe a Business logo ?
Thanks for the content Josh! Quick question: I know you skipped the Sync enrollment, but I am assuming that when you go through that process you can link it with an existing Room in Sync? Or would the panel be listed as a separate device/instance?
I have the same question, could you solve it?
Hi Josh, super useful. We are going to install some Logitech Room Scheduler, but we have particular need. We have different types of meeting room, some room are reserved for the governance and only personal assistant should book theme. Could it be possible to block automatic reservation from the panel? I mean we would like to have room where users could reserve space by theirself enjoying the interaction withe the Teams Rooms but just some room will need to be managed from staff on one side on the other we need to have the same design and look and feel outside the room so the panel will be just used to show occupancy state.
The device doesn't come with a PoE injector? And no other options to power it? How would you power it if it was install on glass? You'd have to run the cable across the glass?
hey.omg- very incredible content!my dear- )
Hi Josh! Thank you for the content! What speaker is that on your desk? Looks like a White Hockey puck. I'm sure not to size but it looks aesthetically pleasing.
Thank you! The white hockey puck looking Mic is actually the Logitech Rally Mic Pod, using the Mic pod mount to route the cable through the table.
can i use barco click share with Teams MTR(logitech rally plus)?
Just have a few,I'm updating three in the same time, but when it comes to 100% it just got a logo in the center white screen, touch it ,no any response.Does it reboot automatically or I need to unplug /plug the poe?
If you end a meeting early, how can you stop the room from being reserved??
is the background for Teams customizable? if possible how do we upload the custom background?
Hi, I am Tommy.
I have a experience for this Tap. My Logitech Scheduler screen always go to saving mode. So, Can have set to always on screen display.
Thx
Josh, can I change the tablet´s language? After the device has been setup ... Please help me :)
What's the default password to access the settings? Any plans to offer some remote viewer tool into the Tap screen from the Sync Portal? This will be helpful for remote support.
Should be 1234, and none that I am aware of on the second question.
Stupid question: how do u get power for it?
POE is the source for both power and network communication
If you notice, there is time difference between Tap Scheduler and Teams Room, i have the same issue. How to sync the time?
Josh, for the Logitech Scribe, can I just get normal POE from my network switch to integrate with my Rally Bar and Tap IP? Or do I need to do the POE Injector to USB-A to connect directly with my Rally Bar? I’d prefer the convention POE Route as I have the Ubiquiti Pro Switch POE+ on my IT Rack.
Hi I installed a Rally Bar setup with the Scribe and the Tap. These do have to go to the provided stand alone PoE as they are not IP driven but using CAT as a USB extension cable. Its an economic way they use to take a USB signal and extend it.
Hello,
In BYOD mode, what will be led indicator for the TAP scheduler? Green or Red when the laptop is connected and meeting started via the laptop with Microsoft teams or another meeting tool like Zoom?
Unfortunately, I am not sure about that. I would defer to Logi Support for that. Sorry!
Thanks
How did you change the background on the Logitech RallyBar? I can't find that option anywhere. Only wallpaper option is when you are in BYOD mode.
I believe that was because I was using the RB as a USB device for a MTR on Windows setup. The compute was an Intel NUC instead of the onboard CollabOS, therefore using the Windows MTR app, not the Android one.
I have a Tap that I was never able to get working. Not sure what I did. It's in a cabinet right now. I need to get it back out and see if I can figure it out. For some reason it just showed up as a mirror of the computer screen.
You have a Tap, or a Tap Scheduler? If using a Tap, was it connected to a certified compute device, or to a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini for use with the Android OS?
@@ExpertOfThings Tap. And I’ll have to check the connection but should be to the display hub. I guess they could have hooked it up wrong.
12:43 IMAX 4DX ???
can you book date in advance? from the video it seems that you can't.
Not currently, but I believe it's roadmapped by MSFT.
What are the UDP TCP requirements? This information doesn't seem to exist.
It is essentially signing in to the Microsoft Exchange Online service for calendar, so you need to make sure the proper network requirements are met for that.
can Android OS be installed on this device? Maybe flashing it?
This device runs CollabOS, which is Logitech's Android OS. I do not believe that they provide any way to flash or customize it.
Is the only way to power this POE?
Yes. At about the 2 minute mark, you can see the ports on the back side.
Purchased a year or 18 months ago, now they decided we need to PAY to use something we have paid for.
Very disappointed to see these are locked down in such a way. When these are end of life they will be useless e-waste.
Am I the only person that doesn't get Teams out of the box?!
Brilliant content, Josh!
