How great would it have been to be old enough to have seen this live. Everybody says the 80's were the best...Not the 70's were the greatest fir Rock Music.
This Studio Track to Live Footage Visual Sync is "FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC'!! A MASTERFUL JOB & CHEERS to YA!!....ALWAYS been Our FAV' "Deep Purple" Song....Simply "BLOWN-AWAY & will be SHARING this BRILLIANT Piece of ART TOO MANY!!....🍻🔥
Burn will rank as one of Deep Purple's greatest songs, at a time when they were at the peak of their powers. This concert version as well as the one at Kilburn (22nd May 1974) was one of the best sung. Coverdale had an amped up voice which transformed the song totally.
This band has been called the loudest band in the world, in the Guinness Book of Records. So put your hands together please, and BURN with DEEP PURPLE !!
During a concert in Pittsburgh, PA. (1985) 30+ thousand fans screamed repeatedly in unison "TURN IT DOWN!" as it had to be close to 160db. Deep Purple paused the show for about 15 minutes or so and 'Turned It Down'. A few months earlier during a national King Biscuit Flower Hour special interview, a listener from PA called in and was talking to guest David Coverdale. The listener was talking about them being the loudest; they were in competition with KISS. The listener stated DP clocked in at 135 db and he was hoping that they would be at lest that loud in Pittsburgh. Coverdale replied, "We don't play that quiet anymore."
Think of the balls it takes. To replace Ian Gillian. At that time DP was the biggest band in the world. That is no bullshit.. I front 300k probably closer to 400k people if you count Gate crashers lol. Be a nobody and say watch me. He knew this was his big moment to put his stamp on the purple. He took it and never looked back look at him today, still rocking. I really admire DC
El mejor tema del rock, voz potente, riffs maravilloso, y todos se lucen en esta presentación en el California Jam, y con un final épico, muy recordado, maravilloso
Rock is coming back soon.. I've seen so many people my age that have the internet, an instrument, and a good teacher. All that combined makes more powerful musicians.
When you grow up listening to such music, you are still a straight person unlike these confused folks who thinks a penis is a vagina and a vagina is a penis listening to some Drake, Dustbin Beaver or a Pol;e dancer Minhaj or whatever
I got you my friend. I am the same age as you. Yea we are bitter. Alot time has passed. If I died today, I would not complain. We lived great year's.!!!!!!!
Interesting, not one single version except for thenoriginal studio version has tha beautiful melancholic whistly keyboard in the background of the second solo a d thats the most beautiful and the most beautiful.part of the song (from 4.32 of the original studio version).
I am happy that I lived through the days we actually had bands playing. Why music nowadays is so garbage.... its' all American rap and hip hop's fault. Only hope for music comes from some Japanese bands like Lovebites.
TODAY !! 1974 - 2024 !!!!! 50 ANOS!

Black Sabbath was the gateway drug that led me to find this monster of a song.
@@thebilldozer7970Black Sabbath was a lot of people's gateway drug to a lot of things. Just say yes to that drug!
How great would it have been to be old enough to have seen this live. Everybody says the 80's were the best...Not the 70's were the greatest fir Rock Music.
It was my first concert! What a day I had😊
O rock teve o seu auge com as grandes bandas de 1964 a 1977 com a chegada do punk e a Disco. As bandas perderam a sua força criativa ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾🎶🎶🎶🇧🇷
Spittin' Straight Facts
The entire period 1954-91 was great. After that music just died out.
Wonderful! One of the best concerts of Deep Purple with Coverdale as a singer. Congratulations on the video!!
SENSACIONAL!! DESPUÈS DE AÑOS DE ESCUCHAR EN VINILO, ETC...UNA SENSACIÒN INCOMPARABLE, UN VIDEO COMO EN VIVO!!!👏👏👏💪🤙🤟

Glenn Hughes totally outperformed Coverdale in this one.

This isn't White Snake. It's deep Purple.
I am happy that I lived through the days we actually had bands playing. Why music nowadays is so garbage.... its' all American rap and hip hop's fault. Only hope for music comes from some Japanese bands like Lovebites.
