I watched this show, simply out of curiosity and was totally unprepared for the level of writing, acting, cinematography and SFX this series brought to the table. Speaking as a huge fan of Star Trek, this is utterly the best Sci-Fi series I've ever seen. Kudos to Ron Moore...he really came into his own after Star Trek with this series. He, David Eick and the entire cast have done a fantastic job!
true story, EJO is the best thing that EVER happened to BSG, not only is he an outstanding actor (although pretty much everyone in that show was awesome) when he got the part me made Ron and David sign a contract swearing that they would NEVER go down the stupid campy route the original took, there would be no Aliens, no Time travel, just awesome human Drama. Then on the first day of filming, ya know what line EJO adlibbed? SO SAY WE ALL! and THAT ladies and gentlemen is why EJO is the king :)
Halfway through I started wondering, why are they laughing? And then suddenly I remembered: EJO was in that movie! haha! That's so long ago! Fantastic little reference there. This just shows the love they have for the characters they play.
haha i think everyone that has seen this show has added "frak" to there vocabulary! haha..great show,my favorite by far..i look at things differently after seeing this show and no show has ever done that!
@SilverShamrock71 : One of the best "Blade Runner" moments is the speech that Cavil makes about feeling confined/restrained/limited by the human form. It's the same kind of, "amazingly emotive speech from artificial life" that Rutger Hauer makes at the end of Blade Runner. Makes you question where the line from artificial to "real" gets drawn....or what artificial even means when it comes to sentience.
@SilverShamrock71 search Olmos Basauri. He and Mary did a convention in Spain and he talks about Bladerunner. I think the video is 8 or 9 minutes long.
@Brigitte727 i say frack alot to now. i don't so say we all because i can never find the right time, but i have been using the polytheism/animist "Gods" since i read Percy Jackson. so it madd me really happy that they used the Greek Gods in this.
@Knyte77 That's spooky, I haven't so much as thought about BSG in months and tonight I decide to watch The Plan on DVD, nothing on TV and you post this comment... weird coincidence... Agree with your comment btw

I absolutely love these two actors. Laura Roslin is one of the all-time best women in television.
And we thank you that. No one else could be Laura Roslin 💕💕
Omg when he got that paper out of his pocket and started folding it I died.

So glad I get that reference now...
It took me about two full seconds wondering what Olmos was doing with his hands... and then I remembered Blade Runner and burst out laughing.
@SilverShamrock71: Wow. That's really cool actually. Some say there's no such thing as coincidence! Love it.
Nice flares Dave...
Anyone know where I can find interviews where the connection with Blade Runner is expanded on?

She went from being the dying wife of a president to a dying president...
It's a reference to Blade Runner.
