24:54 Sold at the comparison with Hulkie. This is the same size as Iron Factory Bruticus so that is all I need, well, except a green version.
I've been really curious about this set, and I think I'm going to get it. I appreciated the background on 3P KOs too. Didn't realize there was that much to it.
I got mine at 7-11 store at Hatyai, Thailand. Mine is the green/purple version. Although is not by Hasbro/Takara but indeed it's die-cast & high quality.

I got this because it scales perfectly well with iron factory's legends Bruticus, an amazing figure by the way. I found out that is also better detailed with more paint applications than the original, the only downsides for me are the g2 colours and the single part hip skirt, but for the rest a very nice figure for such a small price

You can get either. I’ve got the green and purple.
I can't decide if I want to wait for the green version (packaged samples have been seen) there is also yet another version that is even bigger too (all plastic).

Just bought for 29 euros boxed. The yellow one. My first yellow devastator, nbk and jimbao i have are green.
I´ve got mine today. I´m loving the scale, the re-sculpt of some minor details as Mixmaster truck cab and the addition of this combi-gun, but the joints are getting loose so fast so I fear the entire combiner robot will not be able to just stand up after 2 or 3 pose changes.
Is It still in good condition after a year?
For excavator, you have to pull hard on the die-cast part until you hear a click to get it into the right place. Then the die cast part will not swing around freely like in the video
Got this a while ago, it seems QC is, well, non-existent. Excavator shovel on mine is ok, but shoulder transformation hinges are a bit loose, so his shoulders tend to fall down. And there's problem with his bottom in vehicle mode - combined mode forearm doesn't have enough space to fold in front of this double shoulder peg for combined mode. Lower legs for crane in my case are on very loose joints. But, well, it's KO, so there's not much to be expected :).
Personally, I think better use of this mold is WJ Nuclear Warrior - he's in G1 colors, still oversized (though slightly shorter than this one), it seems that WJ has some QC (no loose joints and whatnot), only advantage of this one is tilt on right leg of combined mode (WJ doesn't have that) and chest piece of combined mode (seems this one is only one that doesn't have issues with unfolding chest piece).
On side note, there's easier way to combine both torso parts - connect arms of crane first (you can bend them at crane's elbow joints a bit for this step) and then connect "big peg" into hole on crane's torso.
Oh, one more thing, i think combined mode crotch plate should be on the back of the dump truck in his robot mode.
i got this off amazon to see if they were the same and it turns out they are the same also, one figure is almost the size of a dino bot.
How does he scale with Combiner Wars combiner figures?
Too bad about, the hip skirt/leg movement problem. The thing looks great at that size.
What's the overall plastic quality like? Is it worth the spend?
This works best with the original DX9 scale imo - this is how big it should've been in the first place.

I know their going for the G2 colors on these knockoffs, but I'm surprised they didn't go with the G1 green colors for them.

The die cast is a bit of a waste, but otherwise, for being legend class, these aren't bad at all. Hasbro should hire these guys(and by these guys, I mean DX9).
Scale doesn't matter if a figure is good, in my opinion.
