The mindless meals are lifesavers; I’m kind of boring with food, but my “simple hack” for this is buying the foundational ingredients (maybe tofu, frozen corn, and frozen veggies), then just switching up the sauces (homemade Thai peanut, teriyaki, bbq, etc.).
I usually dont leave comments but girl, you def deserve more subs!! The information youre providing is very insightful and amazing! Thank you, Edukale!
macadamias and peanuts are 7% saturated fat, lean beef is 6% saturated fat. Olive oil is 14% saturated fat. salmon is 3% saturated fat. Brazil nut is 14% saturated fat. egg yolk 10% saturated fat. Full fat dairy milk is 2% saturated fat. Avacado is 3% saturated fat. all healthy whole foods from a nutritional perspective.
The guidance to avoid saturated fats is mainly based on their association with heart disease/cholesterol, but saturated fats from whole plant foods come with so many other benefits (including unsaturated fats) that the +/- ratio is overall very positive
I love that you mentioned "mindless-meal". That's the most brain wire-hacking action transpire that I can never seem to overwrite. Not even over-write ... just ACCEPT.
raw spinach? I think it's a terrible food if you have issues with oxylates - and certainly not a good source of iron - only 2% is absorbed - at least with cooking you get the oxalates out 650mg per half cup!
Not good if you are susceptible to kidney stones, but good for everybody else! Raw is better for vit C content for instance so a balance of both is great
Have you tried bringing along elastic bands to use while in your room? You can also do chair exercises, Pilates, yoga, jumping jacks, running in place etc. for about 20 minutes a day.
so, I've already lost about 10 pounds, but when I'm left with the last 20s it feels like nothing is working😢 I'm so frustrated, as I'm super active during most of the days + do resistance bands workout 3/w + my diet is pretty healthy and satiating, but my measurements aren't decreasing at all! Lucie, do u think it's okay and what could I do? (btw my weight isn't that big, around 135lb)

Thank you so much, that really means a lot!🥰
I get so snacky before dinner. I love the tip about having veggies beforehand. I definitely need to do that.

i always have some frozen meals on hand : veg moussaka, caponata , veg tagine. It takes a little time to make on the weekend but so worth it.
Raw spinach in a smoothie is so great can't taste it at all lol 😅
I was going to say the same thing, I even put it in my peanut butter smoothies. It looks like sludge lol, but it tastes delicious!
