really enjoyed your three part video for this ride. would you advise going dublin to galway or galway to dublin ? or do you think theres not much difference ?
Route-wise, there's no difference really. But perhaps have a look at the wind direction forecast for the days you are planning. Most of the time it tends to be windy going west!
I really loved your videos.. I am from South Africa and an ultra marathon runner and would love to run from Dublin to Galways . How safe would you recomend this route for a solo female ? Would love to hear your thoughts
The stretch from Dublin to Athlone mostly is along the canal bank. Around the towns and villages there are quite a few people around walking/running etc. But there are also stretches in between which are very quiet and isolated. We did this in summer when sunset is around 10pm, so that also helps I guess.
@@PrasannaRamaswamy i know this must sound really bizare from a stranger on the internet but would you be open to the suggestion of me emailing you some questions about the route ? As a foreigner its really hard to find information ...i woupd be so greatfull and in return will gladly answer questions you might havr about south africa if ever you want to do a safari 😀
