This particular camera does a good job in the "Macro" department. A sign of a good camera is the ability to focus on close ups. To get the best results you go into the "SCENES" mode and choose the macro (the flower or double flower icon). This camera also has a "CCD" (charged coupler device) that does well with close ups. To answer your question in laymans terms, yes it can focus on small labels.
Make sure the lock is off on your card. On the left side is a slide. Make sure the slide is all the way up. This lock is there so you can not inadvertently delete. When it is down it is in the read only mode and might not be read by the camera.
is there some way how install this camera on windows 8? Because i cannot find some drivers, and when i press icon of autorun or settup in camera, writes to me something about !cannot activate script...."
Check all of settings. There is a setting for mute and you may have that selected. Unfortunately, I no longer have that camera. I buy and sell them and the Kodak's seems to go really quick. Check all of your settings.
You can open the picture with "Paint" and add it that way. Once the picture is taken an you remove it from the camera, no. There is a way to add it while still in the same cycle.
You may be using to large of memory. Some cameras are unable to read anything larger than a 4 or 8 GB (Giga Byte) card. Try to use a smaller card like a 1 or 2 GB card.
Unfortunately there is not to the best of my knowledge. Kodak is no longer in the digital camera business. The Camera you have would need to have the drivers and the "bios" updated. The manufacturer would need to provide those and seeing as how there is no longer a Kodak Digital Camera Division, this is probably not going to happen.
thanks man i had no idea i could zoom in a little more on program thanks this video really helped
