I see why you cut back the monstera aurea if no variegations come in on those green leaves, will you then throw them away to just grow the aurea leaves out for a more variegated plant.

Why would you put more plants in the bonsai when you repot it. New growth down low will hide the base which is the most interesting thing on a bonsai.
