This is one of the hifi components that could be purchased without hearing it first. I know that is breaking serious Audiophile rules but I just know this will sound great .
Beautiful ! Love the branding on speaker connects and the heat sink - quality touch. So much high end HiFi just concentrates on being bulky and imposing but this just oozes quality and style. Agree with the other comments that the music is garbage.
Not even close, I did a review on it on my channel. Still this thing is a hell of a lot better than most amps in the world at the same price or even a bit more. I would still rank it like top 100 integrated amps because of it's really good black levels.
The build quality sound are decidedly average! IMO, ridiculously overpriced, but some people just like pretty lights. As Earl Geddas said; _"Speakers and rooms are the key to the system, not the electronics!"_ 9:10 - *Earl Geddes Updates His Home Theater* ua-cam.com/video/L4Bm123cKAM/v-deo.html
I have both most recent editions of Marantz premium, reference series 2-channel integrateds (PM11S3 and PM10) - neither of them have streaming or any of that willy nilly stuff installed. Those built-in bells and whistles are used for the lower grade consumer stuff and the Marantz surround receivers - which are also not audiophile grade. What audiophile wants all that stuff (and the associated electrical noise) built in? None. I also have this McIntosh MA9000 integrated. All are fine specimens...
Pricing varies throughout the world due to economic factors. You can get pricing from your local dealer or distributor, whom you can find here: www.mcintoshlabs.com/dealers/find-local-dealer
Did you need to ship it back to Binghamton New York? Did they give a reason for the failure? I am considering the 9500 integrated but yours is now the second such story and their warranty is only 3 years. Sim Audio is 10 years. Did you sell the piece after the repair?
Yes those handles on the front are not just a bit of old school styling - you need them. I like to clean and dust my electrical equipment regularly so I need to move things around without hurting myself of the equipment !

I respectfully agree with you. I'm saving up for my 1st choice...the next generation to the
McIntosh MA900..the MA9500 Integrated Amplifier.
Cheers!

missing all the online wifi. Heos, airplay, echo etc network items that Marantz has
Hi Ed,
We have separate products that supply those, we do not have streaming built into 2-channel pre/amp products.
