This is the most honest conversations after a loss I ever heard from a team who took the L. I respect it

By the way Haney is the one who initiated and offered that 500K per pound during the final press conference.
@jay409.12j no excuses... just valid reasons... he kept it 💯... and Bill wasn't man enough to have this interview
Facts
Very little accountability in this interview. They took training lightly and had no real strategy for this particular fight. Devin got hit hard in the first round and never recovered. If that 3 pounds is so crucial how come it doesn't matter in the heavyweight division?
Nothing but respect for Mr. Crisler's candor about the fight. This has been the best post fight video I have seen period. Thank you
By far one of the best interviews on this channel learned some new things wisdom is indeed everything
Boxing politics is crazy
This man is being totally totally honest. He is right about Ryan's calm aura before this fight. He also right about Ryan playing possum
Boxing is 90% mental

Haney did make excuses talking about the weight and that included his team because of Haney loses the whole team loses is someone makes an excuse then everyone makes an excuse

Haney called ryan a C level fighter but looked like the C level
It was a TKO in the 7th. Referee saved Haney, also robbed Garcia of 4 knockdowns, called them slips. It was a blatant attempt to fix the fight.
I respect Devin's heart. He didn't have any quit in him. As the fight progressed, I kept saying "Derrick James is a hell of a coach." Great game planning.
Why he called ryan a C level fighter n a mismatch thats hot nothing to do with heart
You can tell Ronny genuinely cares for Devin. That's who you want to have in your corner.
So good to read a comment from some body that has the lights turned on!

He most likely already knows he won't be working with them again which is why he's doing the interview.
If they fire him they sum hoes
Now everyone shud understand why Tank Davis had that Rehydration Clause for that Garcia fight! Tank is the smart one. Boxing should not allow fighters to weigh in light but allow them to gain how much they want before the fight. That needs to change.
I appreciate this insight. Good stuff from fighthype
I find it ironic that y’all want the best fighters fighting each other and complain that boxing is dead and people ducking but when boxers dare to challenge themselves y’all say they should retire or completely disregard thier abilities as boxers but yet y’all want the best to fight each other at the end you gotta give props to both

That’s eye opening what a violinist and classical music can do to your mindset. I been tell ing folks rap is low vibration and dumbs you down.

nope depends what kind of rap you are listening to; real hip hop is usually over smooth beats jazz and classical samples.
Depends on the message of the lyrics, but for the most part, yes, it is low vibrational, laced in toxicity, nefarious, and destructive.
To add to what Devin's Corner man is saying about Ryan it is very true in boxing is 90% mental on the wrong night you can psych yourself out on the right night you can psych anyone out don't you remember Mike Tyson when he would come out he was so intimidating that his opponent already shut down and lost before the fight even started that third press conference I seen it Devin broke and Ryan got in his head

I agree excuses, excuses, excuses especially when Ryan got beaten by Tank his little fangirls have a hard time accepting that defeat talking about the rehydration clause, like yeah, yeah, yeah cry me a river yall keep making excuses I don't want to hear that shit but here we are talking about weight🤷♂️ so technically Ryan's fangirls making a big deal about rehydration clause, but it's not a big deal when he doesn't make weight and keeps on rehydrating without the rehydration clause after the weigh in so he can use that to his advantage? Yeah that's what you call a double standard that comes to show Ryan's actions are okay, as long as he gets the win, even if he was to come in dirty or something, yall won't care as long as he wins is all that matters, but when it's flipped the other way around, yall will bitch about it like it's not fair yeah I get it. These are the Instagram followers who are not fans of boxing what so ever just straight up fangirls at it's finest right their like the rehydration clause yall were like "how can Tank do that to my Ryan my king Ryan" fkn 🤡 forgot that the rehydration clause also applied to Tank not just Ryan, and Ryan agreed to the contract if he wasn't comfortable at that weight then why fight at that weight, but now we saw that he couldn't even make 140 like wtf? Then why fight at 140 then just move up to 147 and stay their and not kill yourself trying to make weight smh 🤦♂️
That's no excuse. The man just said he realized they messed up. Y'all just have so much hate towards this kid. You did this k Ryan could win either. All Y'all waited and then spoke so sit down.
Weight makes all the difference in boxing. Garcia used it to his advantage and it paid off.
Ryan had 3lbs advantage, Haney had the referee and one judge advantage. Even playing field.

In the interview after weigh-ins Devin was specifically asked “why didn’t you call off the fight?” Devin responded with “The weight doesn’t matter ima beat him and get him out the sport”… if the weight was such an issue he shouldn’t have taken the money, or while excepting the money they should have renegotiated the contract with some type of weight clause for Ryan. Instead Devin took the money and was confident he would put Ryan in the dirt… He should have renegotiated the terms instead of just accepting the money. Once Devin accepted the money it was a done deal, it was never about the weight until he lost. Even Eddie Hearn said that in an interview
weight was never an issue, devin is stronger at 140 anyways more so than 135

You not listening and learning. Devin was drained to make weight whereas Ryan was fresher. When both rehydrated Devin’s body took the bigger hit which through off his strategy of coming forward thinking Ryan would be weaker too. Instead Ryan was fresh and Haney walked into the trap. It’s amazing how Devin wasn’t drained at 140 against Regis but was allegedly drained at 140 fighting Ryan. Man stop with the excuses!!!
He had a real hard time making the 140 the first time with Regis there’s footage out there on fight hype somewhere so I believe em when they say he was drained he looked drained in there even leading up to this fight just by his eyes I done cut weight many times so I already know that look
You ever heard of “growing”? He’s only 25. And 140 is a transition weight class. He either has to move up or grow at around 140 weight in between fights
You don't know shit about boxing...
Great interview btw, fantastic.
I didn’t understand why after round 5 Haney decided not to fight of the back foot and started to follow and pressure Ryan. The corner should have told him stop trying to press forward and stop trying to land between his shots just pop and move and make him come to you. Also when you feint Devin he moves backwards and freezes that’s why he gets caught. Watch Crawford every time he steps back his next movement is a pivot out on the safe side. Edit: I’m glad his coach said half of this
He got emotional because he was fighting his rival who wobbled him with one punch after his dad talked hella trash. Devin also let people get in his head, he wanted the knockout to prove he had power.
@@RobNtBobfacts he didn’t want to win like Shakur. Haney was trying to make a statement and get over the hump to be seen as a superstar
No I think Ryan actually lured him in. Remember around 2 through 6, Ryan started like doing that dumb shoulder roll and was allowing Devin to catch him a good shots on his back and ribs what not and it seems like Ryan was making Devin think that Ryan was either hurt or tired and it seemed to work because by the 7th round Devin started trying to get even closer hoping to exchange with Ryan and that's when Ryan started throwing that left hook and Landing

I thought “ skills pay the bills “ now we having a fucking weight gate lmao. Weight didn’t have to do anything with Ryan checked hooking his ass 30 sec into the fight .
Of course weight plays apart of it, if you have one fighter struggling to make the weight and draining himself, then you have the other one who weighed in a lot heavier because he couldn’t be bothered. He knew for a fact Haney wouldn’t have pulled out of the fight
It’s not no weight gate it’s facts, it’s funny how your all hating on Haney who got up and was badly hurt didn’t give up, which would have been the easy way out unlike Garcia who got hit with a body shot and quit, funny that
Yup so I don't want to hear Ryan fangirls crying about the rehydration clause Tank put on em talking about the rehydration clause is the reason why Ryan couldn't perform good that night excuses excuses he still carries that power from that left hook no matter what, but it didn't work on Tank, what Tank did is took that away and made him kneel to the real king let's not overshadow that either 🤷♂️😄😄😄😄

When Ryan dropped his arms to taunt Haney it looked like Floyd taunting his sparring partners, I think Ryan trained with Floyd a little…
After that Tank fight Floyd took Ryan under his wing and gave him some of his fight game not just boxing the mind games too.
I been thinking the same thing… look at everything leading up to the fight since he linked with Floyd. Remember they started talking about what they done to Floyd in the sparring. I think they kept talking too much and Floyd got with Ryan all of a sudden had me like whoa you was just with dev, but anyways the tape comes out of tank sparring session, next Ryan starts acting crazy like Floyd did in the Oscar fight. In the fight he mimics Floyd shoulder and he couldn’t get through it tells me Floyd either sparred Ryan and compared the two and said this how you beat him or he just had a plan on this is how you beat him because Floyd knew he can’t do nothing with the shoulder roll, so he basically showed Ryan exactly what to do.
Bingo cause Bill Haney was talking shit period 💯

Right. But they know he will get killed at 147. That chin not loyal at 140 so what you think at 147 Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid 🤣
Every fighter drains themselves to make weight. Even losing a few pounds is draining yourself. Ryan knew Devin would come in at 140 or get stripped. Ryan drained himself but to a weight he was comfortable being. Whereas devin obviously got down to the contracted weight. 3 pounds makes a huge difference in terms of feeling strong. Thats why some weight classes are only 5 pounds apart. Ryan made a strategic move missing weight so he can feel strong and fresh while devin looked like a skeleton. Devin needs to fight at 147 because even 140 is too much. Idk how he made 135 for so long

Great interview Ron!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Do you have the “Save the Children” shirt on?!😅
One of the most honest interviews, this guy cannot tell a lie.
Great insight into the Main event. Both during the buildup, the fight and the aftermath.
I really enjoyed this interview. Thanks for sharing it
King Ryan fooled us all in the month of April😂😂😂🥊🥊🥊🥊
Y’all not me! I won money too!
Fooled me ...

King Ryan fans: Tank had us on the rehydration clause. We would win without that in the contract.
Same sentence
King Ryan fans: we beat Haney a** he ain't nothing. Stop complaining about 3 lbs it doesn't mean anything.
Sounds like King Ryan learned from Tank, and then he learned something from Mayweather before the Haney fight🤷♂️
