Its awesome to watch you explain and play. I don't understand as I am not musically talented. I am however fascinated by the banjo. You make it look so easy. Thank you.
Thanks JC. The key of F is trickier than other keys as your left-hand fingers have to hold more notes than playing in the key of G. Once you tackle that and know where your three main chords land, you're on your way. Good luck.
Everyone has to figure out how they learn best. Those with more of a formal music background tend to relate to the scale idea. Others like the idea of "playing off shapes" and knowing where to find those shapes. As with any video, hopefully you found something that was helpful.

Another great one Eddie
Thanks Steven, I hope you are able to use the information with your picking.
As always very clear and informative. Thank you.
Thanks Brandon. Glad you found it useful.
This is great, could you please do more videos like this in other keys?
Thanks Darren. The ones for the Key of C and Key of D are already out, so search for those. More keys will be coming before too long.
Can you please do eastbound and down lesson with tab thanks great playing
I'll put it on the list, but it's currently a very long list, so it may be a while. Happy picking in the meantime.

Idk, but once I start to hear about scales I just zone right out.🤯
