    Exactly! For me it was giving up my dream I'd having a family and children to feel like I had someone to love me. I finally put them all, after YHWH. Of course I still love my family but now they took second place to YHWH. I now love all people the same. They ALL come after YHWH and Yahusha ❤❤🙏🙏 I've never been happier or felt more loved. ❤❤❤HALLELUYAH ❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    After Abraham left the cave (at 10 years old), he lived with Noah and Shem (and learned the Torah) for the next 39 years before returning to his father’s house at age 50. I’m SO thankful Adam told this account of Abraham’s young years! Shalom ♥️

    Adam, this study was absolutely appointed at this time. So many topics in here that our family has been wrestling with. It was such a blessing to dig into this with you this past sabbath. An answer to many prayers. We couldn't get the ages of Abraham to add up in the additional book, but we don't have a copy of that one so no way to dig into it deeper.... something was off about the different ages it gave for all the different events. Our hearts and prayers were with you all during these storms. Thankful to hear no major damage, just some wind and waves to bring the unit tightly together!

    Shalom! I must make a or correction here of something you said after your reading of the Word of God of Abram in (Genesis 12) "A Call To Abram" you said very clearly that "Abram married his niece."
    NO, that is NOT correct! Abram married his half-sister as it is written in (Genesis 20). The comment you made is at near 30:57 time-frame. Some men had multiple wives to "pro-create" back then.
    Who did Adam and Eve's sons marry? Four times in Song of Songs; the man said, "my sister, my bride." (SOS 4:9, 10, 12; 5:1), but the bride wishes her love was her brother "so she could kiss him and none would despise her." (SOS 8:1).
    What about the Story of Amnon and Tamar - King David's son who raped his sister; yet she begged her brother to "ask the king and he would give her to Amnon." (2 Sam 13:13). Jacob had the sisters Lea and Rachel (and their maid-servants), to build up the house of Israel. Spoken in love, but needed to mention.
    Abram was chosen by God Almighty, but of course his new faith had to be tested and the man needed time to develop trust and be "born-again" in his mind and heart in his new walk with Adonai Elohim, as we all do! After God tested Abram with Isaac (after he failed to understand His way, and laid with Hagar the Egyptian and had Ishmael), Abram finally obeyed God, and proved his new, utter trust in all Elohim had spoken and promised Abraham; thus achieved a beautiful trusting relationship with the LORD God!
    No disrespect intended. Shalom and blessings to you in Christ Yah! :)

    Working with the Writings of Abraham and I've been finding all kinds of errors and 12th century Kabbalah in it. One big one is it says Cain survived the flood and Ham's wife was of the seed of Cain who was the offspring of Satan not Adam just like the Kabbalah states. I say this brother, not to use it in your teachings as it's not inspired scripture.

    I've only watched a handful of Adam's videos and I have a question: how can someone give a teaching and then _not respond to legitimate questions?_ It bothers me that I see zero responses from him. I had questions on Week 2's teaching and he did not clarify the genuine conflicting information he presented. I liken that to sitting in a lecture hall and the person presenting the lecture never allowing any questions from the people sitting in chairs in front of them on the teaching just given. I find that rather irresponsible.

      I am sure you are aware last week they were in prep mode for Passover for lots of people camping and this week Passover/U.B. and very big storms. Adam isn't our teacher or pastor, he is just a brother in faith who studies the scriptures and ties different passages together for himself and shares what he sees connecting, something we all have the ability to do, he even shows us the tools he uses to do so and encourages us. We are no longer sitting in the pew getting an "education", that is not Yah's way for his children . We were sent our instructor in the Holy Spirit and that is who we turn to when we have questions, not a person. Scripture will always define itself, sometimes it just takes a long while to get that clarification. If there is conflicting information take it to H.S. and should it not add up, throw it out or set it aside for later examination. It's truly that simple. We will never all agree on all the smaller details. Not until Yahushua returns, so understand this is also a test to see how we treat one another despite these differences. We should not follow man. It's not good for us as it causes us to be lazy and it causes the man himself to become prideful. Wisdom itself can be a trap. Humble is the way, even when we whole heartedly disagree.

    • @April4YHWH
      @April4YHWH 7 місяців тому +1

      @@miriamscotland3090 first of all, I’m not “following any man”. I’m watching Adam’s TEACHINGS (doesn’t matter how you label them, he’s TEACHING) and had genuine questions. Secondly, I don’t sit in a pew or belong to any congregation. I am disabled and homebound. Third, I KNOW who gives us instruction and I rely heavily on the Holy Spirit to teach me. Maybe Adam should put a disclaimer up on his teachings. Something like “I’m presenting a teaching but will not respond to your questions. Ask the Holy Spirit if you need clarifications to the conflicting information I might present because I’m not responsible for misquoting scripture.” I also don’t see where he cites his sources.

    • @miriamscotland3090
      @miriamscotland3090 7 місяців тому +1

      @@April4YHWH He reads directly from scripture and the sources itself. EVERYTHING is cited on the POV study site. Maybe you should check your heart and your tone, the unmerciful servant who went about beating his fellow servant after the king forgave him of his debts.... it didn't go well for him did it. Scripture plays it before our very eyes. YHWH bless you.

    • @April4YHWH
      @April4YHWH 7 місяців тому +1

      @@miriamscotland3090 thanks for the sanctimonious reply. Since I am a new sub to this channel, I was not aware he has a website to verify his sources - I'll check that out. Maybe there I'll find the answer to why he asserts that Abraham's wife was his niece when in Gen 20:12 it says “the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife”.
