It's like a crusher and a retaliator had a baby, and I love it. Slamfire from the hip, aim from the shoulder. Wonder how it would be with 25 round drums. Or any larger capacity mag. ... Well I see I spoke too soon, lol nice. And once again, Buzzbee is killing it with the included dart value. And they're improved darts too. Gotta give them props on this one!
I love that stock. I might buy the blaster just for the stock, honestly. It’s strange how Nerf is now the only major blaster manufacturer that doesn’t have some kind of second-generation waffle dart included as standard. Nerf Elite darts are now over a decade out of date, and Accustrike darts are 6 years old and discontinued. They’re lagging in an industry they created.
@@frozenfade You can’t adjust the length of the Worker AK stock. Besides, I’m pretty sure I have a Switch Shot stock, which is what the Worker stock is based on.
Glad to see Buzz Bee making the right decisions, all in a single product. Let's hope they stick to their path and don't do unoriginal pro blasters like every other company at this point. Stuff like this is cool and most importantly FUN.
Saw the thumbnail and was disappointed first, "Awww, another flywheeler..." until I took a closer look, got intrigued, and now I'm genuinely interested. This thing looks fun!
wow! a bit strange to have the lever pull on the top but nevertheless a cool design and really good magazines, darts and grips. I’m glad they’re going back and perfecting the basics
I'm definitely excited for this one! I'll have to check if my local Ross or DG has one (Just saw that they are sold at Target) . Hopefully Buzzbee makes separate packs for the darts!
"Can we get NERF to do that?" You're asking Hasbruh to improve the quality of their products? HAHAHAHAHA That's a good one dude! Yeah though, this looks pretty darn rad though, def picking this up.
My son “reviewed” this blaster last week. Such a fun blaster. My son is nearly 6 and with the stock off he could easily prime it. Blaster hits 85fps in our testing. Darts are improved, not the best but way better than Elite darts. The stock will collapse under a strong force but the manner it primes, you should have an issue. Mags feel solid. Grip flexes a little bit it’s comfortable. All in all a great blaster well worth $20.
With the new darts, 85 fps is very achievable. This example averaged 83.3 fps with Buzz Bee's new darts for me. I can indeed get the stock to collapse, but it was when I intentionally tried to do so, it never happened under normal use so I didn't bring it up. The mags feel like they could be used to hammer nails in they're so well made, more companies could look at these and improve their own to match (or Buzz Bee could sell these separately and I'd use them specifically). Very comfy blaster that has you said is well worth the $20. I can't think of a better one for home/backyard use for $20, and this would also be a fine HvZ/lower power game blaster.
Been waiting for *you* to do this one. Wild way of priming, the style, the absolute *fun* of this thing, it's a must for me. I work at Wally World (as we call it) and in the most relevant department, so I can say it's been a *very* dry year for the Adventure Force blasters. The same things have been sitting there, going, more come in, no new variety yet in those, I hope around fall it changes. Really would be nice to see this in the line with whatever alterations and likely a new name.
I'm hearing some noises that Adventure Force might be a dead ( or sleeping ) concept. The stores I have been in that have completed the Late July/Early August blaster aisle reset had zero new AF blasters and several gone.
Next time I have a full chat or meeting with Buzz Bee I'll check in about it. That would be bad news for them as the AF line has been big for them. I can say that the other new Buzz Bee blasters are still a bit late in coming, so it just may be delayed rather than canned altogether.
my personal opinion, i really like this as a dedicated scout's rifle in HvZ. already comes with 2 magazines but i would run these with worker 12s. hold the same capacity of 14 but shorter and easier to store. carry 5 mags total and its light enough and compact enough to easily keep on you as a scout carbine for a whole day. that thing with a folding buffer tube and a nice ctr stock and its hard to beat for not constantly firing but need something reliable.
It would absolutely be perfect for that sort of role, a highly mobile player just needing something that is reliable, but can spam a few shots when needed. I'm going to set one up as soon as I get a second specifically for that.
@@MongooseJakeNerf exactly what i was thinking. pair it with maybe a flywheel pistol like the nightengale for emergencies but this as a primary in a small recon team, imo the best primary for the job.
@@MongooseJakeNerf lol i personally dont play scout (medium infantry personally. Modulus ecs-10 and pigeon sidearm) but love having you guys in squads because of how vital y'all can be.
It'd be neat, but what exactly would it add? Every other company's done pro blasters at this point, so it might just be best left for buzz bee to do what they do good already.
I like the concept of this blaster, and of course BuzzBee is on par performance-wise when compared to the competition; but I just can’t get past how horrid their blasters look aesthetically. I bought this one, then took it back. My little guy liked it, but then asked if we could take the priming handle and put it on something that looked “more cooler” lol. It’s of course just my opinion, but I feel like their blasters look like cheap dollar store toys. They need to revamp their shell design team. Their internals are good, I just can’t get behind their shells. The reality is their shell strengths are better than Xshot, but no where as good as cosmetically. Even their blasters that have intrigued me a bit, I just can’t because of how awful they look. The only one I have really likes is the Double Fire. Again, it’s just my opinion, but I will go with DZ, Xshot and Nerf all day. Even cheap Amazon knock offs have more cosmetic appeal. Now, those new darts and magazines I think they did right. Anyways, keep up the great content. 👍🏻
Not sure if you saw this on Discord, but I've been coining the new Accu-blast darts as "Platypus" darts, and from what I can tell, the community has taken the name! Very interesting blaster as well, but I like the darts the most lol!
I kinda feel like the mod potential of this is either limited, or perhaps counterproductive. The whole point is that this is an easier to prime blaster, so assuming you could modify it without breaking the gears, why not just switch to a pump action? For 20 bucks though, this looks like a good offering for stock class or indoor blaster battles.
It certainly is good for stock battles, but it "should" be able to maintain a smooth and light prime even when modded, so there's that. Might be a great HvZ blaster as well!
@@MongooseJakeNerf I think it's certainly fun for hvz, but optimal is a different discussion. The other issue inherent with this sort of prime is that it involves a lot of arm motion and is rather busy. You get a lot more mechanical advantage for sure, at the cost of less precision. Of course, it isn't like Nerf Darts are precise anyway... but I'm unsure if the added chaos in the priming mechanism is irrelevant because your ammo quality is poor, or if it just makes a bad problem worse. I really like what this blaster does, and 100% think it has a niche, but IMO that niche is younger operators who might struggle to utilize more traditional blasters over the course of a session. I don't necessarily view this as a competitively viable blaster, but of course, not every blaster has to be a Trion. One dude at SENC/Atlanta Blaster Club uses a Rival Knockout... with among other things, a Herja underslung to it.
@@blazedestin The prime isn't bad for precision overall, just specifically during the slam fire but if you're spamming slam fire shots you're likely being rushed and just trying to get fast tags at close range anyways. The optimal HvZ blaster is going to be a high capacity flywheeler really, or pump action drum fed springer, but I think this could work really well. It'd be fun and different at least!
Not interested in this blaster. The prime looks like it’s going to break off. Good job on them making a proper buffer stock, nice magazine and a good size grip. Good for people who have a trouble priming other blasters. Smart product.
The lever is pretty well built, and this one as already dealt with me firing close to 1,000 shots so it's doing its job well enough. I personally don't see a failure issue there, but time will tell.
@@MongooseJakeNerfthis is my concern as well because it's not uncommon for Buzz Bee blaster to snap and break. I just hope the lever can endure the wear and tear.

They look and feel on par with something like the Worker 22's that I love so much. Best stock mags in my opinion.
Glad to see Buzzbee still being inventive. Would like to get the new darts and try them out for testing.
If we get a flywheeler with a similar ergo and overall shape to this that's kind of a spiritual successor to the Ultra-Tek Brute, I'll be so happy!
