  • In Day 12 of our 30 Days of Breath Support, we continue learning breath choreography with a different vocal exercise. The point of “breath choreography” is to keep the abdominal muscles free and not tense or “bound up”. Please catch up on Days 1-11 as watching this video out of context may lead to misunderstanding about how the whole support system should work!
To sing well, you need to breathe well. Most people- beginners and professional singers- agree on this point. However, how to do it? That is the question…
Follow along in our 30 day series on Breath Support to take your breathing and support to the next level!
We invite you to join our Lucca Bel Canto Institute this summer: September 9-16, 2023. For more information, please visit www.luccabelca... This program is for classical singers.

Thank you for giving us the freedom to take breaths more often. At least at the beginning. Yes it’s better to have a free and clear voice with lots of breaths in the beginning than to force yourself to not take a breath and your voice is getting more and more tense because you’re trying to show that you’re using support and can hold long breaths.

I think your volume/loudness is a little low on this video? Or maybe it’s just me? Just a heads up!
