Turned out real nice and I liked your whole process. Since you asked 5:20 I would have cut the lines with a marking knife and used the router table to clear out the middle then chiseled out the rest, but whatever works, you have all the good tools and it probably turned out neater this way.
Absolutely goergoud wood, I like the knife support and will be making one out of purple heart. One thing about miter saw, never clamp both sides. If it ever bind you will get a huge surprise and may break your machine bearing or worst. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job. You router table, did you make it? If not brand? How you like. Lastly, how you like your sander? Toy I am interested in but haven’t purchased yet.
I did not make it. It's actually an older craftsman router table. It's okay considering how cheap it is. It's not really made for a lot of use. The hardware mounting the router to the table is starting to get worn out. The hole in the table is not big enough for larger cabinet door bits for the raised panels. You can find a few that fit in there. But not many of the good brands. The fence is good and effective for dust collection when you hook up the rigid shop vac.
Real nice. That wood grain looks amazing. Great build exceeeeeeeept I would've like to see you hide the dowels..💪🏾

I like your solution for clamping. Nice knife stand.
Thank you.

it's about time
How does it look after some use? I am worried the knives will mark that beautiful wood.
honestly I don't know. I've made a few and have not gotten any feed back on these yet.
@@TheRookieWoodworker I just know myself and when I'm in the kitchen the gloves are off.
