I feel like Jennifer Lopez seems like the type to be really open and honest with her children. Not only that, but especially with the internet I’m sure the kids know about Ben and Jen’s past relationship and want what’s best for their parents.
I mean we are far from perfect human beings, so why should we expect our parents to be perfect?
I mean sure… Jen moves on quickly, so what? All she wants is to find happiness, is that so bad? To all the people who says that she needs to find happiness on her own before moving on…. Who says she hasn’t found happiness on her own? As someone who is very much happy on my own I still want to find happiness and share happiness with a guy. Just because someone likes being in a relationship doesn’t mean she’s codependent.

Seeing this, i find it even funnier now how STRANGERS have the audacity to "feel bad" for the kids because of the situation. Emme hangs out with Ben even without her mom. That says a lot. We really do not know what happens behind closed doors so do not project your life on them! What works for you may not work for them, and vice versa.
Lastly, contrary to how others sees it, I think the kids are old enough to understand things. Maybe not COMPLETELY but they sure know things. Never underestimate a child's intelligence.

All children know is what they see. You're right that's probably normal to them. My mom never had a 1000 different men in and out of our life, so that's a little different to me. My mom tried to set good examples especially for her daughters, she tried to instill good morals and she always told us pretty is as pretty does, but I was raised by southern parents, not Hollywood parents. That's two different worlds. Probably normal to all of their children.

Jennifer has a very open dialogue with her kids, I'm sure she told Emme and Max about her past relationship with Ben and why it was over or why her relationship with Alex ended. They are 13, they are still young but not so young that they don't understand things. Ben already seems to have created a dialogue and a bond with them, especially with Emme, so if it's not a problem for them why is it for the people?

Ben has already done more in 2 months than Alex did in 4 years with them! Ben is not a social media hungry person who always lives with his phone in hand! He is a normal guy, who wears normal, who likes simple things. Arod was a good stepfather only for the cameras, he had no interest in understanding Emme's real passions, like books, or in accompanying her and Max to the playground. I love how normal they look together.
