Now that's the best wiring video ever! Awesome thanks guys!!!
I just purchased a set of these yesterday and I ordered a white battery pack. Since I have an old reissued 57 stratocaster(circa 1982)I used the grounding plate to add support for the volume and tone pots, because the pick guard(purchased brand a month ago)is a single ply eight whole pick guard, so it emulates an original one that was used in the 50s. Also ordered the battery pack, so when it gets to the store, I'll start this project. Should be good to go by the weekend.
Thanks for the install video. Very easy to follow. I just installed these into my G&L Legacy. Can't wait to see how they sound.
@Fishman Transducers you guys need to make one of these for an HSS configuration!
I need a single coil sized humbucker and a fully solderless system lol
Great video. Please put up one with the battery pack installment too.
My Fishman Fluence Strat pickups installed on my strat along with the rechargeable battery pack seemed to work great until yesterday.I plugged in a 1/4 inch cable which seemed to be tight & I had to push it in hard for it to fully go.After which there was no sound .
I thought the battery might have lost charge & so I put it on charge. The battery pack showed a green light flickering to a yellow.orange light every second constantly.WHile I tested it again there was no sound .
Today I resoldered the wires at the output & also checked with the multi meter. As far as I know I got a circuit complete beep.I put it on charge once again for a couple of hours after which I plugged in a guitar cable.A red light was flickering for about 5 minutes & the pickups worked. Then the light disappeared & no more sound! I've put it on charge once again & I see the green light with a yellow flicker every second. Not sure what is going on!
We're doing it right now ! We'll tell you about the result !
The push pot could have had a lot better camera view. It garnered the most oral instructions and the shadiest view. Put it as instructed, crickets. Checked, rechecked, checked again. Nothing. Then checking even more the grey and orange wires fell off the pickup. Now need a multimeter expert. Buy the loaded pickup. I wish I did. Plus color coding works when the instructions are in color, these are black white. Finally, they don't show a Fender style 5 way, seems to be a mirror image. Need to call out A or B side along with the pole numbers. It would have been easier.
Will you do one of these for the Classic Humbucker set? This is awesome.
Hallo, I prefer Push-Push pot in volume position for voice switching instead Push-Pull on tone pot position. This is the reason I dont want buy it just now. Are You planning it please, or am I able do it myself ? Thank You.
“Soldered to the bridge…” like the claw plate? Or where?
what if I only have one tone pot?
Lets say I bought the Stratocaster Loaded Pickguard. All I have to do it is solder to the output jack. But what if I used terminal clamps and crimped on the three wires for the output jack? Would that work?
I have a Boss WL 20 wireless transmitter. Will it work with the TRS jack? I'm wondering because the WL 20 uses a uses TRS also, I' guess for the same reason. switching the power on
I am using 3 mini toggle switches so I need an alternative to this installation.
Hello! I am Sebastiao Cyrillo luthier manufacturer of bass guitars and use their products intended for acoustic guitars since 1998 in maintenance, this new line of pickups will be used to electric basses 4.5 and 6 strings or only be made for guitars? It would be great to have a new product for the basses, thank you.
Once these are installed, are there any specs or guidelines on the height of the pickups and distance from the strings recommended?
Great video.Thats a cool place to place the battery.Does it not interfere with the vol/tone controls? How long does the 9 volt battery last? Thanks.
Are there any plans for a pre-wired stratocaster pickguard, like the ones from EMG? Most people I know hate soldering and would gladly paid for a pre-wired product.
Most people I love soldering. Something to do with the lead, I think.

gran video muy bueno, mi pregunta es: si deseo colocar solo 2 una en midle y la otra en neck ? yo podría hacer eso usando la pastilla numero uno
This may be a stupid question, but these pickups have me intrigued. If you own a Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat with the V6(middle tone control) and the S2 Volume control, wich has a built in preamp and bypass, can you install these pickups and keep the controls, and just replace the bottom tone control? I' like the versatility of the Roadhouse, but I would like to replace the pickups with these. Any help would be appreciated. Happy holidays, and thanks.
How come the bottom tone control does not work for positions 1,2,3?
I followed the instructions carefully and triple checked already
Why are you using air as a dielectric for your common?
I successfully installed these pickups a few months ago along with the battery pack. It worked perfectly fine; however, now when I plug my guitar into an amp the pickups don't seem to be turning on (they aren't picking up any noise) any idea what could be the problem? I'm quite sure the battery pack still works because the light flickers when I plug in a 1/4 inch cable into the guitar. Thanks!
Followed this video, tripple checked the wires and solder joints, only getting sound in pos 1-3 though????
please follow up with our support staff and support@fishman.com
Greetings Fishman , when you buy the 3 pickup set , does it come with all the
parts shown at 40sec in this video ?
22 sept 2020 yes
***** Are all the singlecoils the same ? I mean no difference between the nridge and neck for instance? Thanks
so you got single coil for classic tones and single width for modern tones, correct?
Can I use a second Push/Pull with the HF (blue) wire?
Why a ground wire if these are active pickups?
Does Fishman have any plans for a two single coil, one humbucker kit? I'd love to try these out in my old Jackson Soloist. Hmm, would the battery pack fit the back cover?
***** Thanks for the info. Can't wait!
The 9 volt battery fits under the pickguard?
How do you wire the bridge pickup to a tone knob?? It's extremely bright...
Is there Fluence Modern with 3 singles for Fender Strat?
Are you not using solder wire?
Is there a kit that includes the POTs?
what kind of push/pull switch is that? I know its a 250k but is it a spst or a dpdt?
Will the silent circuit still work in my music man cutlass and buffered tone also work??
Anyone else having problems with this? I have no signal at all. I'm going to try again from scratch.
Fender MIM
When is the Tele set coming out?
+Fishman Music ~ Great; thanks.
If only you had a HSS set
You can do that. I'm planning on doing a HSH set with the open core classics. www.fishman.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/SSA-HSS-Wiring-Diagram-Volume-Tone.pdf
these pickups may be good, but they are expensive as hell, not aim for the "mid-end" guitarrist. not to mention Im from chile. even the cheapest Dimarzio pickup is way to overprice here.
Why no video for HSS? It's like they don't exist. You have humbuckers, SSS, but no HSS... Makes no sense man...
Would these work on a music man cutlass?? It only has one volume and tone pot.
