In fact, I’m often sadly surprised when nowadays there are people that don’t understand doing voluntary work (volunteering) is not only a way to make you feel better, but also a way to develop our society. It's not a question only in our country, but also all over the world; there are people who are less fortunate than us who have a big problem of poverty, hunger, pollution, unemployment, etc. You can solve a lot of social problems being a little more generous. It could be a question of a little money or becoming involved at a certain time in your life. Being useful is easy; being helpful is possible if you think that: • Poor people deserve the same opportunities as you to have a worthy life. • No one knows what will happen in the future. Everybody may need to be helped at some point. • You receive much more than all you give. This will help towards your personal development. In all my experiences as a volunteer, I’ve felt a better person. I’ve met many interesting people. I’ve reinforced my values. For free? Yes! What is the price of a child’s laughter?

Volunteering shouldn’t be there only in one society or one community, it should be there around the world so that the people around the world understand the importance of volunteering.
