The worse place for free speech is definitely online. Almost all social media is now microcontrolled by a few oligarchs, who use algortithms and AI like a 24/7 Big Brother.
If the so-called Founding Fathers knew about 'shadowing', a right to free speech on the Internet would definitely have been included in the Constitution.
62% of Americans use UA-cam daily for instance. Tweak a few lines of code, and they can make every mention of Bill Gates online disappear instantly. Before an election, even. They'll never abuse that am I right?
Patrick Henry would have had a few words to say I'm sure! Only his posts would have vanished before anyone saw them as "Against Community Standards" 🙄

I will tell you that I just say a feature on work being done in the UK regarding Cancer research. It is shown that getting some cancer fighting material to bond with certain cancer causing proteins is showing real promise. Some of these proteins have been identified in a particular cancer and the medicine has seemed to destroy the cancer cells and the patients are in remission.
This is going very slowing, one reason is that their are thousands of proteins and they are all different and in different types of cancer. It takes months and years to map just a few proteins and using AI they mapped them all in about 48 hours.
So, like a lot of things, AI can be very dangerous IMHO if used by the wrong people for the wrong reasons and we are going to be seeing a lot more of that. Politics will play into what regulations may or may not be imposed. It certainly can be used for evil. Hopefully we can use it for the good, and keep the evil down to a dull roar.

When we interfere with the natural order of life, even with the best of intentions, we risk setting off a cascade of consequences that we may not be prepared to face. 🌍
Mosquitoes and the Web of Life 🦟
Mosquitoes, as insignificant as they may seem, play a vital role in ecosystems. They feed birds, fish, and amphibians, sustaining entire food chains. Removing them, even to eradicate malaria, risks starving these creatures and collapsing the delicate balance of life. ❌🦅🐟
The Danger of New Threats ⚠️
Nature doesn’t leave gaps unfilled. By removing malaria-carrying mosquitoes, we may invite more dangerous, resistant species-or entirely new disease carriers-to take their place. 🦠🧬 The unintended result? A new problem as devastating, if not worse, than the one we sought to solve.
      Unintended Imbalances 🐜🌱
Without mosquitoes, other insects could multiply unchecked. Imagine a world where crop-destroying pests dominate, threatening food security and livelihoods. 🌾⚡ It’s a reminder that when we alter one piece of the puzzle, the entire picture changes.
The Cost of Human Solutions 🧪
Tools like gene editing and pesticides might seem like fixes, but they come with risks of their own. 🛑 Non-target species, like pollinators 🐝, may suffer, or we may accidentally create pesticide-resistant super pests, compounding the issue.
      Fragility of Creation 🌪️
Nature operates in intricate balance. When one thread of the web is removed, the entire structure can unravel. 🕸️ This is about more than mosquitoes; it’s about the profound wisdom woven into life itself, a wisdom far greater than our own. 🌿
      The Gentle Truth: 🌟
Intervening in nature is not inherently wrong, but it must be done with humility and deep reverence for the interconnectedness of life. When we act without understanding the full consequences, we risk doing more harm than good. Compassion for humanity must go hand in hand with respect for the wisdom of creation. ✋✨

One million people dead of fentanyl. Oh wait big pharma doesn’t want us to talk about that because it might cause everyday people to questions their agendas so we just casually don’t mention our cities are overran by drug addicts. It’s so dystopian at this point that smart people buy into this crap - same with Fox. But you are a GOOD person if you do and only BAD people don’t buy into it. We are in a race against time to prevent ecological and societal collapse, and more technology, energy use, and material use just accelerates collapse, so AI is just pushing us off the edge of the cliff faster (as is sending anything into space. As for medical science, plenty of sleep, exercise, and healthy whole food plant based diets would wipe out most human disease. Ending pesticides and other toxic man-made chemicals and plastics would prevent much of the rest.
In education, we know how to educate people well, but CEO and billionaires took over education policy in America and elsewhere (with Bill Gates as a leading culprit in the US) so we are teaching kids the way you manufacture cars, not the way kids learn best.
