I will tell you that I just say a feature on work being done in the UK regarding Cancer research. It is shown that getting some cancer fighting material to bond with certain cancer causing proteins is showing real promise. Some of these proteins have been identified in a particular cancer and the medicine has seemed to destroy the cancer cells and the patients are in remission. This is going very slowing, one reason is that their are thousands of proteins and they are all different and in different types of cancer. It takes months and years to map just a few proteins and using AI they mapped them all in about 48 hours. So, like a lot of things, AI can be very dangerous IMHO if used by the wrong people for the wrong reasons and we are going to be seeing a lot more of that. Trying to teach my staff to use AI on their phones and computers here in Indonesia shows a huge difference between individuals. I will tell you that I just say a feature on work being done in the UK regarding Cancer research. It is shown that getting some cancer fighting material to bond with certain cancer causing proteins is showing real promise. Some of these proteins have been identified in a particular cancer and the medicine has seemed to destroy the cancer cells and the patients are in remission.
This is going very slowing, one reason is that their are thousands of proteins and they are all different and in different types of cancer. It takes months and years to map just a few proteins and using AI they mapped them all in about 48 hours.
So, like a lot of things, AI can be very dangerous IMHO if used by the wrong people for the wrong reasons and we are going to be seeing a lot more of that. Trying to teach my staff to use AI on their phones and computers here in Indonesia shows a huge difference between individuals. Some quickly integrate it into their workflows, others dont and rapidly fall behind, lacking the imagination and resourcefulness to use an infinite resource sitting right in their pocket.
