- After a full polished to craft a Yemenite One New Man shofar, it's now for fine tuning.
Hear the resonance of the polished kudu horn with its red/purple colors, not all horns have this character. Once we spot the red purple color of horns, we take extra efforts to reveal it's hidden colors coz it's only in the inner layers that it can be seen.
Hear the sound as we fine tune it into a premium ONM Yemenite shofar.

I just blew my Shofar for the first time July 6,2022 Wednesday 3:15pm.
I actually blew it for a few seconds once I realized it ,it kind of surprised me and I stopped😊.I watched one of your videos as you were teaching I just looked at you and that’s when the sound came out of my Shofar when I blew in it . Thank you so very much😊

A master's touch and remarkable skill! Very fascinating to watch from start to finish. My shofar was made in Israel using an elk's horn. The mouthpiece was already shaped, but the horn still had the tissue/pulp within it. I buried it in an ant mound for a week so that the ants could "eat" away as much of the pulp as possible. I then used small rocks to shake and breakup the remaining remnants. I had to do this several times, because the tissue/pulp that was still inside was now decomposing; the small rocks did the job. The mouthpiece fit me perfectly, with no adjustments.
Elk horns doesn’t have a bone core to be taken out to craft into shofars.
I have a ram's horn, too, but I think it needs some adjustments. It is such a strain to get the lower tone and exhausting to get the higher tone. @@shofarmaker

Thank you for the video. You mentioned using different size drill bits change the tone. I plan on trying to make a ram's horn shofar. It's 28 inches long but needs cut back for a clean opening, probably will loose about 6 inches. I want a deep but loud tone like your Yemenite shofar. I will greatly appreciate some advice.

My wife and I ordered a shofar from Isreal recently. The mouth piece of ours is drilled with the sharp edge smoothed out but isn't opened up like how you did it in the video. It's very difficult to get a sound because there's no room for my lips to vibrate. It's that a common way to make them?

Ada 2 ayat firman TUHAN yg menulis tentang TUHAN meniup SANGKAKALA/SHOFAR:
A. 1 TESALONIKA 4:16(tb).
Sebab pada waktu TANDA diberi, yaitu pada waktu penghulu malaikat berseru dan SANGKAKALA ALLAH Berbunyi, maka TUHAN sendiri akan turun dari SORGA dan mereka yang mati dalam Kristus akan lebih dahulu bangkit;
B. ZAKHARIA 9:14.(tb).
TUHAN akan menampakkan diri kepada mereka, dan anak panah-Nya akan melayang keluar seperti kilat. Dan Tuhan ALLAH akan MENIUP SANGKAKALA dan akan berjalan maju dalam angin badai dari selatan.
MAKNA arti setiap TIUPAN SHOFAR:
Bunyi SANGKAKALA bicara ttg 'TANDA'.
Ada 4 SUARA/ jenis buka sangkakala:
1.THEKIAH
2.SHEVARIM
3.THEKRUAH
4.THEKIAH GDOLAH atau
TEK GDOLAH
1.THEKIAH
suara yg mendeklarasikan
Keinginan Tuhan utk menegakkan kebenaranNya di suatu batas wilayah atau area tertentu.
2. SHEVARIM.
utk mendeklarasikan keinginan Tuhan utk menerobos batas2 & menghancurkan setiap perlawanan yg tdk sesuai dgn kehendak Tuhan.
3.THERUAH
-sebuah alarm atau suara yg mengejutkan,digunakan utk
Mengumumkan secara tajam kedatangan BAPA YHWH di tempat itu.
4.THEK GDOLAH
-mendeklarasikan kepenuhan & keseluruhan perpanjangan dari kemuliaan Tuhan & kekuasaannya.
Suatu kemenangan terjadi.

Hi Wayne. It depends as it progress. Not a one size fits all. Using from 5-7mm sizes.

Moses did not have a drill machine .how did he do it ?
There is a classic way of shofar crafting 🙂 no machine used.
