Ozzie & Ortensia are married. Oswald is Mickey's big brother, despite Mickey being a mouse & Oswald being a rabbit.

The return of Figment was 100% the best costume announcement EVER! I still want to meet him so badly, but I was very happy when Disney announced that Figment was returning to the parks for his own Meet & Greet!

9:28 quick thought: in the "this is halloween" sequence, jack in his pumpkin king form sets himself on fire and jumps from his horse into the fountain, and raises out of the water as himself. if disney wanted to build a ship with an aqua theatre and underwater platforms like on some royal caribbean ships, theyd have a excellent halloween themed stunt show on their hands

There are two characters I want to see as new walk-around characters:
1. Sisu! She's been long overdue! And with 2024 being the Year of the Dragon, this would be a perfect opportunity to bring her to the Lunar New Year Tet Festival in DCA!
2. I also want to see Gazelle as a meet and greet in Zootopia Land!
The Chinese Year of the Dragon might just see Disney trot out Mushu from _Mulan_ rather than Sisu from _Reya & The Last Dragon_ for a nostalgia pop.

Disney Dan at 27:58,I was hoping you would talk about Benjamin Clawhauser from Zootopia, when he made his debut at Tokyo disneyland.
He really doesn't look all that creepy, he looks big. But he definitely looks good, just like the animated character from Zootopia. But not only that he looks very funny, in fact he was one of the funniest characters from Zootopia.
And by the way the way he looks now that he made his very first appearance at a Disney theme park, anyway he looks like and his appearance is like a tribute to the late comedian and actor Buddy Hackett.
I have seen Buddy Hackett in some of his movies, he's a good actor but he was a really good comedian. And he was really funny.
I even remember watching the classic and kind of forgotten Disney live action movie The Love Bug, Buddy Hackett was on that movie. He played the mechanic of the little car Herbie. And in fact Herbie is one of my favorite Disney characters as well.
I even found out Buddy Hackett voiced scuttle from The Little Mermaid, the original animated classic that is.
So Clawhauser looks like Buddy Hackett, and he's as funny just like Buddy Hackett
I saw in a video of the media event for Zootopia, there was a Gazelle costume character for the fireworks show.

I have a friend who works in creative costuming for magic kingdom, and she was part of the team that made the Tron costumes!
I got my Disney world passes back this year and visited Disneyland in the summer so I saw lots of costumes but my favorites are figment Pete nick fury 100th outfits moon girl and mirabel coming to wdw excited for all the new costumes for 2024.

Aaaaactually, WDW looks to be hiring for an pattern cutter for what seems to be the parks, so it SOUNDS like maaaaybe new costumes might be in the planning stages? Maaaaaybe? I don’t know if it’s a pattern cutter for upkeep on current costumes, or if it’s to work on new ones, I haven’t looked further into it myself. But there’s a possibility! I follow their careers site and careers FB page, so I’ve been seeing post about it now and then.

Square Enix would need to be paid for the creation of Kingdom Hearts human characters (Sora predominately), though, because Disney doesn't own them outright.

I doubt the Disney execs will give you PRIDE night, as deserving as it may be, considering former temporary C.E.O Bob Chapek likely had _The Owl House_ cancelled for that reason (Dana Terrace's in denial about this [Since, she, like the rest of us, would like to give Disney the benefit of the doubt, even though it has been shown that certain bull-headed overseas countries that are staunchly against LGBTQ+ pairings basically tried to shortchange Lumity, Raeda, Veesha, etc. on purpose; for instance, the Taiwanese dub of _The Owl House_ changed the landmark Lumity scene near the end of "Knock, Knock, Knocking On Hooty's Door" from Amity blatantly asking Luz out to having Amity asking Luz if she wants to dress up & travel together], whereas, in this fan's humble opinion -- and this is coming from a straight, cis white male to boot, mind you , but I am still a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, nonetheless -- the whole "doesn't fit the 'brand'" statement put forth by the company's personal relations department just feels like a BULLSHIT EXCUSE, yet despite that, a begrudging Disney probably feels like, in order to appease everyone the world over, it has to bend the proverbial knee to certain foreign governments that still forbid LGBTQ+ relationships, which is why it has had issues with promoting PRIDE at its theme parks).
We should do it again next year!

I'm gonna keep saying this until Disney actually adds them to the Parks, but you know who I'd love to see in the Disney Parks? Minnie's nieces Millie and Melody! It just feels inevitable to include them in the fun you can have in the Parks at the moment, so hopefully they add them someday.
If they're doing that, they'd have to include Mickey nephew's Morty & Ferdie. Also, perhaps that also means they'd include Kermit's nephew Robin in that list, too.

I mean, we already have had Hubert (Hewie), Duford (Dewey), and Louie (the duck, not the orangutan [original Disney Jungle Book media, which includes the 1960's animated movie, its presumed 1997 prequel series _Jungle Cubs_ centered around the jungle animals as kids, its early '00s sequel film _Jungle Book 2_ in which Mowgli introduces Shanti & her kid brother to his jungle friends and of course, the brand's loose '90s spinoff _Tailspin_ revolving around the jungle animals living in a 1940's airstrip port village of Cape Suzette, with loafing ace pilot Baloo actually getting a girlfriend in Higher-For-Hire's feminist boss Rebecca Cunningham & finally getting his surrogate son of sorts in young bear cub navigator Kit Cloudkicker & a genuine daughter in otherwise single Becky's own cutesy unintentionally annoying child Molly]/Gigantopithecus [the 2017 live-action CGI adaptation of the prior Disney version of Rudyard Kipling's work]) for Donald, so Morty, Ferdie, Millie, Melody (Mickey's nephews & Minnie's nieces) and Robin (Kermit's nephew) deserve their spotlight, too (although for Robin, he's best left as a traditional Muppet, in my humble opinion).

Whyever not? Most characters deserve it. This includes not just film characters, but those from its TV division, too (meaning, we need characters from _Gravity Falls_ [the Pines twins Dipper & Mabel, Wendy Corduroy, Pacifica Northwest, Grunkle Stan & his own twin brother Ford, Bill Cipher. etc.], _The Owl House_ [Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Willow Park, Gus Porter, Hunter/Caleb Wittebane, Vee, the Clawthorne sisters Eda & Lilith, Raine Whispers, Steve, Masha, The Collector, Emperor Belos/Phillip Wittebane, etc.], _The Ghost & Molly McGee_ [Molly McGee, Libby Stein-Torres, the neighbor boy whose family are ghost-hunters, etc.], et al), despite Disney seemingly not caring too much about the characters from its TV series enough to promote them within the parks as much as they, perhaps, should.
