A great video: smooth & clear. We did this drive in May 2019 in the same perfect conditions up to the Stelvio. Thanks 7ze3 for the memory. We have been watching all your videos (all now saved) of the drives we have done in recent years eg Grindelwald, Grossglockner High Alpine Road ( driven approx. 6 times ), the Stelvio and more. My first time on that road was in 1987 with a Opel Rekord.
Wow, what a stunningly clear day, you were so lucky! You could see that huge glacier-topped mountain (I think it's the Ortles/Ortler range) in the distance right from the lake!

Bellissimo percorso fatta in moto con la mia gentile consorte il12 agosto partendo da S.Pellegrino in Valbrembana P.S.Marco P.Stelvio arrivando fino oltre il lago di Resia al confine con L’Austria ,e tornado da Bolzano prendendo l’autostrada del Brennero fino ad arrivare a Bergamo per poi risalire in Valbrembani dove risiedo totalizzando 630 km,davvero una gran bella passeggiata che consiglio a tutti quelli che non l’anno mai fatta .
Peccato non hai proseguito una volta arrivato al confine austriaco...dopo qualche km avresti trovato un bivio sulla sx che ti portava verso St. Moritz oppure tirare dritto fin quasi a Landeck dove avresti trovato un bivio sulla tua dx x la Kraunertal
Walter Crema Be sicuramente volendo non si finisce mai di viaggiare anche perché come si suol dire l’appetito vien mangiando , ma noi eravamo abbastanza sazi in particolare mia moglie , anche perché i miei anni oltre i (73 ) portati su una FAZER 1000 in due per un totale di 630 km fatti su strade non propio riposanti ,incominciano a farsi sentire ,comunque grazie del suggerimento,volemose bene e buoni viaggi felici a tutti.

Now I've completed this drive with you. Did the start at the end. Great weather but when you arrived at the Rio Solda I was hooked. Love winding roads and then ending up at lovely Trafoi where I started a few days ago. I plan on saving many of your trips, and also (as long as we can only travel vicariously) plan to watch at least one of your videos a day. You are excellent!

Please also make full features like this one in the future, there are very few such videos of driving through the Himalayas. The Alps are impressive, but still no match for the sheer height of the tallest mountains on Earth, and they are difficult to travel to for those of us living in Europe (especially now!).

Andreas Berni first in anciet century 6 before christ sudtirol and all those northern surrounds alpine areas was conquest and made part of Roman empire , colonizes and fight with barbarian tribes (anciet germans, godos, visigodos, and others that fight and invades the Romans conquest as territories, infacts be honestly is very dificult in base of historical evolutions and dispute area,adjuticated to who really belongs those mountains, is was a eternal and bloddy battelfield indeed. They germans, godos, celts, french , arabs, has invade italy territores and domaniate and take italys territores, properties, resouces , since the Roman empire fall, why italys dont fight back and recover what they lost in their past by the intromission of the avarice of the power of the others? I think ist just more than fare that the treintino alto adigio (sud tirol) belonged to Italia , italia has give a lots to human civilization, and has loss a lot too.🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🙏
@Andreas Berni Territories were always won and lost by war and politics , there is nothing fair or unfair about it. Somehow I don`t believe that either Germany or Austria would willingly give any territory back, and certainly they are not the ones who can complain about it . Personally , if I had to choose I would rather live in Italy than Germany or Austria.
