Bud and Shakur are talented, but they’re not marketable. Loma had a following before turning pro. I think the problem is that people, for the most part, do not like boxers with big egos. That’s why they’re not marketable. Most boxing fans like humble fighters. The majority of Black fighter have a big mouth- insulting other fighters, not giving them their respect. It has to do with moral integrity. It’s better for Black fighters to play the bad guys in boxing, than try to pretend something that doesn’t appeal to the audience. Just facts.
