This is a nice in-novel costume production with decent actors and an interesting storyline but terrible subs. I can’t say I liked this weak and impersonal Emperor (ML) who abandoned FL almost every time she was schemed against. I didn’t really like the FL either since she had all the advantages and supposedly wrote countless harem-stories - and yet didn’t seem to be able (or want) to fully utilize that. Other than that, this is actually worth watching and definitely not the standard Harem-story. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a modern day writer who is working on an ending to a novel her mothers never got to finish. While writing a scene where the heroine of the story was framed by an evil Palace maid like herself, causing her to be attempted to be poisoned or even strangled - unless someone wanted to die for her - a lightning strikes FL’s house and electrocutes her. But instead of dying, FL transmigrates into the novel and wakes up in the body of the heroine, while she is being strangled. Luckily, FL is able to fight off the maid trying to kill her and a woman - looking exactly like FL’s mother in real life - appears at the scene, wanting to die for her, as stipulated by the evil Palace maid. FL stops the woman from drinking the poison offered to her. Knowing the plot she wrote herself, FL starts using her knowledge to deal with the villains. Her plan starts by attracting the attention of the Emperor for her to become a concubine, which makes her able to fight his evil concubine but also makes her a target. When later on her carefully laid plans start to fail, she has to use all her wits in order to adapt to the new course the story is taking - and protect the ones she cares about while surviving to the end of the story. Well, this has a satisfying, kind of happy ending.
also want to give the ML a credit, he is willing to let her go and not trap her in the palace - he wasnt selfish at all - they can still continue their romance - what a great compromise for the both of them
Awal cerita menarik, Penulis novel masuk ke karyanya sendiri. Dia awalnya jadi dayang istana, lalu diangkat jadi selir oleh raja. Cuma saat dia ingin melawan selir favorit Raja, dia sering kalah. Sikap Pemeran utama udah Bagus, cewek keren, tenang, nggak bloon atau sok cute kayak dibeberapa tempat. Cuman ditengah-tengah ceritanya mulai boring. Endingnya juga kurang Bagus. Prefensi sih masuknya, buat aku 7/10
