It is a tank n love it !..
Hi there Mikael, a great looking and performing HPI, I loved the reverse shots and the slow motion shots. Especially those with the grass being ripped and thrown out the back! Awesome running, filming and editing. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😁😉👊🏼
Thank you, John! I really appreciate the kind feedback, after spending lots of time editing ☺️ Really rewarding. Thank you! And the best to you and yours too!
Argh, what broke? Didn't look like a wild crash, on dirt... I was more scared when you showed that playground, looked like some of those features were real RC killers, but then that rubberized surface must have been cool to drive on. I just found a skatepark in the neighbouring village here, I need to take an HBX there sometime soon, try some fun before it gets too cold... And the other first thing I needed to comment, gotta love the sound of eighth scale! Have a great weekend there, buddy!
Hi Mads! Ahh, just the rod end of the shock. Funny, never broke that on my Arrma. And yeah, couldn’t really do much on the small skate park with a 1/8 metal buggy. Much better with a small HBX with flexible plastic. I’ve also been meaning to do that but just never got around to it. And yeah, we should do it before it gets too cold ☺️ Love the sound of giant metal gears and giant brushless motors too. Hope you are having a great weekend my friend
Hiya Mikael. Oh yeah this was high on my wish list for a while back in the day. I've just had a look and they are still available in the UK but I don't know if they are still producing it or if that is old stock. Looks pretty quick on 4s so should fly on 6s. You got some lovely slo-mo shots and I enjoyed the format and edit of the video. Hope that spares are available for this one. I've still got my HPI Firestorm but worry about driving it in case I can't get the spares. Anyway, happy Saturday mate. Best wishes to you and yours 🙂
Hejsa Pete! Yeah, remember videos with these from when I started in the hobby again, almost ten years ago. I remember the Vorza was also a favorite for high speed cars. Nowadays it seems more like Arrma. I think they have stopped production of these again now, when the new Vorzas are out. But I hope they share a lot of parts. Maybe one day they will make a Firestorm II with reused parts from the old one. That would be lovely ☺️ Thank you for your kind feedback my friend. Best of Saturdays to you and yours.
@@NordicRCI bloody brought one then realised a month later they brought out a new one! I love the old one but worried about parts now n it should've been cheaper going out of profuction and bloody hobbywing instead of the crazy torque castle motor it used to have. Cheaper system but same price grr.
Awesome video❤ just a heads up it's not a good idea to stack your batteries like that because when you hit something the top one becomes a projectile. This i know 😂
Hi, I was wondering, is the Vorza better choice than the Typhoon? I’m asking since I’m in doubt which one to buy of those 2. Hope you will give you’re point of view?😊
Hi John. I think they are a bit of the same actually. The Vorza seems a bit better handling. But the Typhon seems a bit more durable. But both top quality and top fun ☺️
I'm so worried I just brought mine it's hobbywing n parts could be a problem. Should've brought it 10 years ago when it was king at the time. Still a beautiful well balanced car.
Another great video!! I was eyeballing that car back in the day and I ended up getting the Associated 8.2e. The Vorza looks to be a beast😎👍🏼. What song is the one that starts at 4:02 ?
Hi Bro! Sorry for the late reply. Nice with the Associated too. Probably better handling. Uhh, not sure. Maybe it's mentioned in the description? UA-cam adds the songs automatically.
Yeah! Plenty of power on 4S for me. It will be crazy on 6S. Just got a 1/8 Kyosho Inferno Neo too which I tried out on 3S. Plenty of power for me too with 3S even ☺️
@@NordicRC Too much power they get dangerous, I have to be carful with the Maxx. Over the park you can be out of the way and someone will walk on purpose in the way.
I had a VORZA sitting new in box in my shed for a while I ended up selling it last week (It was only collecting dust) $400 Aus I am selling most of my RC's
@@bradkalman2353 Ahh. I got this one cheap, in a private sale. Too tempting. Whole package with 2 x 2S for around $333. I Think with the new one just released good deals can be made with this ‘classic’ one at the moment.
HPI can`t handle anything, they just break from nothing. And cars like the Sport 3 Flux 911 came with front axles too short for the car, stripped spur gears every run, couldn`t adjust mesh because the motor was stuck to the motormount, the motormount was stuck to the chassis, chassis made of soft plastic and the only thing holding the bottom cover on which was what held the spur in place was also soft plastic, with machine screw in it. Absolute trash. HPI is garbage, buy Arrma, or even traxxASS instead. At least they don`t come broken from the factory or are literally impossible to work on..
I brought this car finally was exoecting a flux tork (castle) and its got a hobbywing not as much torque, the gear up with the castle made 127kph the hobbywing only 111 kph not as much torque. Cheaper system but same price was spewing.

Some spectacular jumps there. 👍 And you will not need lawnmower anymore with this beast.😆 Nice video, like always.
He he, yeah, it can mow the lawn for me 😅 Thank you, Milos
Awesome slo-mo shots and very well edited together!

Thanks a lot Paul! Yeah, it’s great to see them on top again with parts supply and everything 😍
Sehr cooles Video! Tolle Slowmotions und gute Perspektiven. 👍👊
Thank you so much for the kind feedback, Thomas. Danke Schön.

Thank you Rob!
Some cool footage my mates got one of these
I thought they might have came back out with the vorza.
They have. Well, first HPI went down for a while. Then this was re-released. And now there’s a new version just released.
Yeah they sold off these then brought out a new model im pissed parts will be hard.

Hope you speed test it.
Hi Brad! Yeah, I definitely will! 4S vs 6S
Nice, but 2 batteries always seems a lot in that size car. My Maxx I run on 3s and plenty fast, 4s too fast for me.

Hi my good friend. Uhh, yeah, sometimes one can have too many. I need to clean out too. Got a couple of untouched too.
I think only 4s power is allowed in 1/8 buggy racing, so the Vorza would not meet the requirements... Anyway, it looks pretty cool.
Only tried it on 4S so far. Plenty of power. Well, for me it’s more of a basher buggy than racing buggy.
So you broke down and got one. Lol $400 car USD?
