I have, ink displays and full color nooks. I do t have a lot of customers bringing them in, so I don’t have any videos of that. I’m sure eventually I will, but not yet.

Is hard to "swicth" form one phone to another

Yes it is very hard to remove good screen without cosmetic or functionality issues. Cheaper to buy a new screen to install than it is to attempt to remove a working screen from a J3 anyways. I say no to customers coming in with 2 J-series phone asking me to move a screen from one to another.

Is the glue along the edges included with the screen? Or does it snap on? I have a screen I'm looking to replace, and I can get the glass and the OCA glue pad that attaches to the backlight display. Would I need separate glue to go along the edges?

You are trying a glass only, not recommended. You are saving your self 10-15$ by doing roughly 500% more work.

For double sided tape. Tesa is the only brand I recommend.

For screen... just example. I have wholesale membership.. so I get OEM for cheap.
Never do a glass only as a first time repair. I’ve repaired thousands of devices over the past few years, and I hate glass only repairs. It requires a grey area of heat, too little it breaks the lcd by pressure and to much you burn it. Then you have to glue the new one on with UV glue and let it sit under a UV lamp for hours. Tip made shorter... spend the extra 10-15$ and get the full assembly and use a strong professional strength phone grade double sided adhesive.

Keep it mind I use 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10mm tesa tape. It’s hard to find. But more sizes make for less cutting and cover removing.

Thanks I feel so dumb for not looking in the comments. I bought the screen replacement kit for $30! And that was the cheapest I found it! Luckily I didn't do it until I bought this tape. Thanks a lot.

Glad to hear, C-Clamps can be used instead of the little crank clamps I use to hold the screen in place as the adhesive cures. This helps avoid that new screen lifting up on the edges. Hope everything went well for you!

IMPORTANT are you able to do this without the tape, and at what point in the video do you use the tape? This is the only video I found on the eclipse. Thanks.

No, the tape adheres the screen to frame, glue is messy and can take forever to dry. Tape is recommend by all repair shops including mine.

After removing screen and cleaning the frame, the tape would be installed on the new screen on the edges.
