Are there any tutorials that explain what all of the different feature types are? I'm totally stuck at this step (creating features). I don't understand the different between all of the options, pocket, open pocket, slot, face, contour, etc.

How would you go about setting up a post processor for Solidworks CAM? Have to be done by vendor?

Thanks for your helpful video , in my Solidworks cam,most of machine names such az 4ax and 5 ax are deactivated would you please tell me how do I activate it ,thanks

Hi Reza. They are deactivated because its part of the CAM Professional license. CAM Professional includes 4th and 5th axis pre-positioning so it’s required in order to activate those machines. Let us know if you have any further questions!

is that possible to know the required cutting forces to accomplish the part with solidworks cam? thank you in advance

Unfortunately SOLIDWORKS CAM does not indicate cutting forces. I know with some other CAM packages they require add-ins to output that information so you would have to look in to a third party vendor.
