- In honor of St. Patrick’s Day we decided to do a special walk-through of O’Reilly auto parts. OK I guess it’s not that special but it’s still a store walk-through so enjoy it while you can.
May you always have a roof for the rain, walls for the win, and a warm cup of tea by the fire. Laughter to cheer you, tools you love near you, and all that your heart may desire.
Happy St Patrick's day from Dublin ireland, love watching your videos
O'Reilly is my go to parts store. Shine on.
Used to work for O'Reilly and still shop there. That floorplan is so familiar. The tools DO sell, mostly to shadetree mechanics who either get in over their heads and need a tool that second, or they had a project half taken part and broke a tool and don't have time or options to go anywhere else. Sold a lot of single sockets, breaker bars, bolt extractors, O2 sensor sockets, etc. Many of the tools are identical to Harbor Freight. Between HF, O'Reilly, Napa, Autozone, Advance and Pep Boys, it usually just comes down to which store is closer or cheaper. if you are a pro repair shop, then it is often down to which one will give you a credit line and special pricing.
This is how a tool guy does St. Patrick's Day =)
Don't we all want chrome nuts! 😎😝
I like to add the Bear's walkthroughs to a playlist to fall asleep to. Unassuming, quiet and fairly boring, and that is quite OK!
I like how all his stuff is calm as opposed to the ones that sound like Billy Mayes Hayes or the guy that sells Flex Seal, but yet still not boring like the other guys that could make a Stop sign fall asleep.
“Boring” isn’t the best word to use here, I think “calming” or even just “ambient” works better. But I agree with you, they are great videos!
I go to Advance Auto Parts because they give Speed Perks points that allow you to save on future purchases. They are one of the few stores still can turn rotors and drums.
it all depends on what part of town i'm in as what store I stop at. If it's not something I need fast, I use rock auto for parts.
That brings back memories, I haven't been in that store In about 30 years.
Here’s a toast 🥂 here’s to you and here’s to me good friends may we always be, but should we ever disagree to hell with you here’s to me lol. Happy St. Paddy’s day shine on bear
I have bought tools from auto stores only in desperation. Usually not priced well. 12.99 for feeler gauge other day I saw. $4.99 Harbor Freight equivalent. Around me, O’Reilly, Autozone and Advanced Auto prices are the same usually.
Napa for sure, I've learned my lesson buying from those cheap auto parts stores...
Don't sleep on that Ammo Can compressor
....long hose (better than the coiled hoses that those other compressors have) with an automotive quick disconnect which means you can use your own if you wanted to (although that connect to the tire is left to be desired, but better than those rubber clip on ones on foot pumps), long cigarette lighter power, and all contained....seriously better than those other ones on that shelf (10x's better than those Slime branded ones for sure)...saved me and a couple of friends more than a couple of times.
Hello from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
Greetings, Irish bro!
Howdy! … from Vegas!
@@denoftools Lost wages in da house!
Harbor Freight now has the Haul Master Universal Trailer Coupler Lock, like those shown in the beginning of your video, but the one at HF is $19.99. The lockset is not integrated into the frame, and it might not be at tough as the "heavy duty" one, but as we know, locks keep honest people honest, but if someone wants your stuff bad enough, they'll eventually get it. (Unless they make a loud enough racket and do it long enough for you and your little friend to come and see what's going on!)
I don't have any O'Reilly's around me. I've only ever been in one, and that was in Daytona Beach. We don't have many NAPA stores either, but we have Auto Zone, Advance Auto, and the guys you love to hate, the Pep Boys!
I was in O'Reilly's last night. Didn't even think about St Patrick's Day.
I bought a flex head micro 1/4 drive titan ratchet from there for a blend door actuator turn out to be a decent ratchet for the price
I have only ever bought tools from an auto parts store if I was in a pinch and needed the job done now. I've always thought tools at Auto parts stores were too expensive for what your getting.
I mostly do Advance Auto, because they have free same-day delivery.
Jeff you didn’t want the air horn kit lol 😂 I just saw it when you were panning by other stuff.
Happy St. Patrick’s day God Bless
none of those stores have earned any loyalty from me. I go to advance auto parts because it's the only one within walking distance of the house, which is all that matters when you're in the middle of a job and just need one more can of brakleen.
The ceramic wax is on clearance at Walmart.$10 or less depending on store.
May the road rise up with you!
My go to store is Advance Auto Parts.
Did they have a 2 for 1 deal on muck shovels?
I go the the closest, oh wait ,Autozone and O'Reilly are like next to each other. To me that are interchangeable. Usually to NAPA for real auto parts. Tools are HF.
Just bought the Husky 270pc tool set $70 off from $199 to $129 at Home Depot
Cheaper than the icon too
O'Reilly is the goto place around me...it's the only place within 20+ miles.
Couldn’t help but notice out of stock on motor oil at 1:33. Be thirsty my friends and stock up now.
American Sniper seat covers at 5:13 SALE!
Thieves hook up and take off with my RV while I'm in it? Boy will they get in some deep kidnapping charges, IF cops get them before I shoot them.
I got my trim removal kit at HF.
My go to quick parts store is AutoZone, because there is one only 6 blocks away from home.
They need some gearwrench at O'Reillys.
Hahaha you got an iPhone bear?
Hey by the way, I know Bosch owns Diablo and their impact bits look identical, do you know if they are the exact same product that’s just rebranded or are the Diablo bits better?
Yep on the iPhone and no idea on the bits
@@denoftools Oh noooo Jeff! You've really have gone to the dark side. Hope everyone is well.
Keeping you, Red, Blue, and your families in my daily prayers.
Shine on!
YES, Wal-Mart is now also selling JB weld in larger quantity at a clearly lower price. I don't know why my previous comment didn't post ... I deeply apologize if it was interpreted as spam.
Advanced auto here where I'm at
Go to harbor freight they’ll give it to you free mr bear
AutoZone or Advanced
Their song is so annoying that I never shop at O. O. Reileys.
Orielys tools aren't the best over priced same quality as harbor frieght
First
Ok Here is my two cents worth........ O'Reilly stores are for the most part better than the others ( Autozone, Advanced, Carquest, ) At O'Reilly if they are out of stock on an item they usually can get one same day or next day (this was before shipping problems and world backorders), where Autozone takes days to a week. Also depending on your area O'reilly tries to hire kids that ACTUALLY knows about cars and what makes them go. Autozone ... erm your mileage may vary.... Autozone also carries WAY less inventory of hard parts and only 5% of the fluff seen in this vid. Now let's talk quality..... Everything Autozone sells of their "house brand" is labeled Duralast. There is no good better best - just $ $$ $$$. At O'Reilly there really is good better best- just ask and pull parts out of the box and look. O'Reilly tools are more than Harbor Freight but are good just the same. As for quality -- they are great -- Now some of you who use a 3/8 drive ratchet with a pipe extender and then snap the ratchet need to have your tool box removed from your garage.
