- I walk around the streets of Downtown San Jose Costa Rica and practice Spanish with every attractive person who had time to talk back. I was surprised at how good it felt their country overall and how happy the people were compared to some countries i've been to. I like to find out where the fun is by asking the locals. They always know exactly what's fun in there city.

What method did you use to learn Spanish in a year? Also can you understand all the different Spanish accents?
I used every app that’s free and talked to a lot of girls they will think it’s funny and help you.
@@CharlieBoyTV I'm learning now but the problem I'm having is I can some what understand women spanish speakers but men speaking it's harder to understand. I think women speak more clearly and use less slang.
@@RichBoy-dc2dq I don't think the guys care about helping us as much as the woman. I also think its easier to talk to a woman then a men. They will correct you and teach you.
Look for a UA-cam channel “Learn Spanish with SpanishPod101”. It helped me tremendously
You need a friend you can correct your Spanish, you don't say que es tu nombre, you have to say " como te llanas or cual es tu nombre

Costa Rica is an amazing place, beautiful nature, people are wholesome and mostly honest. Sadly the people and the politicians are getting too comfortable and are letting violent crime rate and drug trafficking rise up and also the price of living are also rising up, no offense for you being an American foreigner but locals are giving more priority to foreigner income above local economy, and therefore middle class economic disparity is also increasing. Amazing country but certainly not perfect and it could be one of the best but is wasted potential.
