Hey
🤓
For anyone who doesn’t know, this was a true story, and Mandy Harvey sang a song that was like what Mia sang in this. She lost hearing at age 8 and never stopped singing. Afterward, every single person in the audience gave her a standing ovation and it was very wholesome. Simon said, “I don’t think you will need a translator for this.” He hit the golden buzzer, people in the crowd were crying, and even Ant and Dec were cheering. Find the video of Simon Cowell giving Mandy Harvey the golden buzzer and you’ll understand this a lot more.
Oh yeahhh I remember this
she was actually on American got talent. Ant and Dec is on Britain's got talent.
Bt in the vid they did press the golden buzzer for auditions 💀
This is about her on America's got talent ?
@@daphnebrooks3966 yup.. she even got the golden buzzer
This has to be terrifying to go through it’s one thing to be born deaf, but to be able to hear and then go deaf as a young adult I couldn’t imagine how terrifying that must have been 😔 She’s such a STRONG strong woman to go through this!!

This is such a beautiful thing. As a musician, one of my greatest fears is losing my hearing. I could feel her panic when she was told she was going deaf, but the fact that she didn't give up and even succeeded in the end, it gives me lots of hope.
Let’s us give the mom applause. She never gave up on Mia. She tried her best to ensure her daughter’s dreams came true ❤👏👏👏

Something similar happened to a girl named Christine, so Christine loved to cook but in her 20’s she lost her vision and went blind, she was worried she can’t cook anymore but that didn’t stop her, she had to relearn how to cook blind. This was an amazing story right here. I'm glad Mia did not use her disability as an excuse to not pursue her dreams. The actress who played Mia (Sarah Graceson) was very beautiful. I can't believe this incurable illness happened to this beautiful, amazing and talented person. Dhar Mann, as always, great video, loved it. Thank you for sharing and I'll see you in the next video.
The fact that she's this talented and she's death truly shows that anything and even the impossible can happen. I'm so glad she made it so far especially when she got fourth place. Hopefully she keeps inspiring people, so others grow up to be just like her!
You mean deaf right? Not death..
Now that was an awesome true-to-life story. My Friend has been losing her hearing ever since she was small. and now she is 60 years old and still thinks she can not do a darn thing and I keep telling her that she can do what she wants. and that video just showed her that she still has hope. Once the doctor had a diagnosis, she should have already had the brochures to give to them to immediately give them help and useful information. This actress did a good portrayal of the real person this video is about. Mandy is truly an inspiration to all those who are disabled or otherwise in difficult circumstances. She shows we should never give up or not try to give our best. Also, we all have amazing talents and gifts that benefit ourselves and others.

I was born deaf and I'm constantly told I can't do things that "normal" people can. It really hurts me sometimes and it makes me undervalued and underestimated. I can hear music and everything just like a normal hearing person can, however in order to understand the music playing, I use vibrations (and lyrics) just like the video showed. It's nice to feel represented.
Ryleigh I know it’s tough but please try to never give up you can do whatever you want to if you believe in yourself, my mom and dad are telling me now that you don’t need to waste your time in becoming a professional football player like cristiano ronaldo and Messi (2 greatest football players ever ) my dream is to play football and I will prove them wrong and you just because your deaf doesn’t mean your not valuable it’s means that your special than all of us. I hope you see this and read this because your amazing never give up on your dreams love you man I hope you achieve a lot in your life ❤️❤️❤️
I am deaf too, I want to tell you. We can do anything we want to do.
I played in my school band, I was a tuba player.
I'm also severely-profoundly deaf with one CI and one hearing aid
But I could hear sounds and music better than lyrics anyways. Speech is where it all goes awry for me. It would get challenging at times, but I never gave up and always performed great with practice! I loved playing the tuba and I hope to join my local band to continue to inspire others, especially deaf kids. I actually would love to one day inspire deaf kids like how my amazing parents and community inspired me to become whatever I want to become. Every deaf child deserves to be brought up in a community where they are seen as an individual who has dreams, like everyone else.

This video sweetens my mood. It was good. I am hard of hearing with fluent ASL, and I never feel any guilt about my deafness throughout my life. Facing vast discrimination, prejudice, denial, and rejection are common among deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Only bigoted people, especially top administrators, managers, top officials, and authorities, grossly underestimated and undervalued deaf people because they believed that deaf people cannot hear and cannot function in the world. These situations often suppress deaf people's opportunities and talents to take away their lives, ambition, careers, and interests.
Going deaf is one of my biggest fears. Music is my life. It helps me express my feelings and I would go crazy without it. This story is really interesting and inspiring
You can still have music in your life even if you have hearing loss my daughter is deaf, she became deaf when she was a few weeks old due to been ventilated as a result of been born 14 weeks premature, yet she still learnt and plays piano, she has high tone deafness it was so funny when she got her hearing aids as she thought the piano had been fixed that was the day we found out she couldn't hear the side with the high tones she looked so shocked and said oh you fixed it lol.
There is no such thing as an abnormal disabled person. I became disabled at 43, I walk with a limp, severe pain, swollen hands etc. Mia is an inspiration to the deaf community, she has shown the world it's real talent that enables her to sing. Thanks for making this video
She doesn't have to give up her dreams. She needs to try to relearn what she hears. Being deaf is not the end of life.
Mia is incredible. I love how once the doctor told her she was going deaf and her parents told her should couldn't be a singer, she didn't just give up, instead she immediately told herself, I'm not giving up. So inspiring. Her Dad also wasn't a big help but her mom was so supportive.
I’ve also got EDS and fibromyalgia, so this really touched me as I my condition has degenerated and I’m in a wheelchair now. More awareness like this should be out there ❤
i also have EDS
Glad this video touched you! Keep up the positivity! I wish you all the best.

In thee past i used to think that these stories were just short little lessons, but now, they feel like mini movies. These stories have gotten so much better and they make you feel so involved in the story. It feels almost like a scene in an actual movie. Why does she need too do sign language when she can just talk while her mother is doing the sign language at 12:15?

It was definitely based off an actual AGT person (Based on a true story I believe for the most part) And when I was the actual video from AGT I cried how inspirational the Judges were on AGT watching it again here on a Dhar Mann Video made me cry yet again at how Inspirational it was. With all the times I comment on "Famous" Peoples stuff I know and understand replying to ALL comments is impossible cause that would mean 1,637 replies to each comment (this comment is number 1,637) also Sometimes your videos get 17 M comments 1 per subscriber and sometimes even more (1 per subscriber plus some people who arent subscribed comment to) so I understand why you cant reply or any Famous person cant reply to all comments I just hope one day they will. I put so much thought into my comments. I always have a lot to say and type out paragraphs so......

Anybody has their talent even when they have a disability so please never give up on your dreams. Whatever you believe you can achieve. Thanks for this beautiful story.

I think about the actual audition of this often. I’ve always loved it and was inspired
2:00 me: turning down the volume on my headphones while watching
I absolutely love this video because it is based on a true story. I remember watching the actual person on AGT and i was so amazed and proud of her for accomplishing this even though she is deaf. It was absolutely amazing to witness.
You know every one of us is different in some way, but for those of us who are more different, we have to put more effort into convincing the less different that we can do the same thing they can, just differently. Being deaf does not make you any less capable.
bro the live didn’t even start
