- WinHTTPRequest are easy to use.
In my previous video on Fiddler I demonstrated a quick way to filter traffic however it is somewhat tedious to use and does not "stick" across sessions. This approach is much more flexible and can be saved for future Fiddler sessions.
You can download Fiddler here: www.telerik.co...
Here is a link to using Fiddler to monitor network traffic on my site: the-automator....

Is there a way to apply the filter to not take up as much memory? (troubleshooting an random/intermittent 403 error from a S3 repository and the PUT traffic is using all 32GB of RAM on this machine I'm working with) Hoping to get a type of methodology for limiting Memory usage while still retaining up to a long history of entries as this can take weeks to happen...
I don't think so but that is a crazy problem
Is there a way to filter out traffic by app instead of by host? Like if I want to see the traffic for a specific app and filter out traffic from the OS and all other apps?
I believe you can tell it to filter by the application. Also just the other day I saw there was a big update to fiddler so make sure you grab the latest version
@@JoeGlines-Automator wow interesting. Thanks for the quick feedback!
@@JoeGlines-Automator Would you know if this is in Fiddler Classic or is there some special version that I'd need?
how do you do this in the new version fiddler everywhere? v1.2
Not sure if it is possible. Sorry
