Rachel, you and your content give me the heartwarming feeling of dropping by a friend’s house, showing up with no pretense, no makeup, hair a mess, wearing a giant hoodie and leggings, and having the best time being ourselves. It’s an opportunity to make a connection that feeds the soul. I love hearing that you’re taking care of yourself and slowing down. I did have a good laugh about Frank’s bone and the cleaning caddy. 😂 Filming without a detailed plan sounds like a great idea to me. This should feel like a creative outlet rather than a job. Regarding makeup purchases: I had a great time buying and trying new makeup for a few years. It felt like play. But when I started to do an inventory, I discovered much of it had gone bad and even more had gone unused. I was so ashamed, I made sure my husband didn’t see how much I was throwing away. The number of samples I accumulated was ridiculous, too. Now, I don’t add samples and primarily buy replacement products. I am interested in the Lawless lippies because I often feel like a clown in most colors. Again, it was a joy spending time with you. 🌸🐝🤗
This comment means the absolute world to me, and you always know what to say to brighten my day up tenfold! Thank you so much for being here, it really does touch my heart. I don't add samples anymore either unless I really want to try a product and it helps keep me from pruchasing to try but tbh most of the time the samples aren't what I'm interested in lol I feel myself going back to things I loved for years and am def a little burnt out on the trying things. Oldies but goodies will reign supreme! lolol
Just wanted to say I love your content and love you are making your own path here on yt. I'm here for it all. I agree with how you feel about your collection and now looking at it and feeling ashamed. You inspired me to carve out time to go through my own collection.
The end of this video is everything! We all have fallen prey to UA-cam made me buy it. We have all self soothed with beauty via makeup as art supplies. color theory is why we appreciate the nuance of undertones and are sensitive to finding the finishes that give us our desired aesthetic. We will un-shame ourselves and embrace what’s real for us in each passing moment. I’m here for it.
Awe thank you!! Always nerve wracking to see if it will all make sense when I let my brain loose like that 😅 goodness yes the amount of “art supplies” in my house could open a full workshop 😂😂❤️
@helsconceit ohhhh 😅 so I’m not as familiar with discord but I do like the Makeup Rehab forum on Reddit! But maybe I should learn discord and start one?!
Your voice is very soothing. 🙂
Thank you 🥹❤️

Awe thank you!! That’s means so much to me and I’m glad you are here❤️
I was so surprised by the luminous silk im super desaturated and it was the 3.75 that worked for me (summer shade) so definitely try more samples x
This makes me hopeful!! Thank you❤️
