To all those who make negative comments and who just love to negatively compare Philippine choirs with each other, please don't display your ignorance and stupidity here on UA-cam just to brag. First off to Nelson Bautista down at the bottom of this thread: FYI, iMusicapella is mentored by Tristan Ignacio who was a bass (now alumni) of the UST Singers where he probably got the permission to use this piece, from Prof. Calalang, himself. Also, for upmadz20: your praises were good enough, you didn't have to bash the University of Utah Singers for their version of this song since they're friends with the UST Singers. Which means, they look up to Philippine choirs such as the UST Singers which translates to a mutual respect for Filipinos in general. As for laurenwyne: the UST Singers are good friends with the Madz. In fact, Erwin Andaya, a former tenor soloist for the Singers once joined the Madz as well. Lastly, whichever version you choose to listen to understand that our choirs, conductors, as well as arrangers contribute to the greater cause of promoting Filipino talent in the international choral scene whenever other choirs adapt their pieces and songs, not to mention that it's a great means to promote friendship among people of different nations, across cultures and racial differences.
+margtril I have friends na USTS ngayon and friends nila ang Madz. Echos lang ng mga tao dito sa UA-cam na pag-awayin ang dalawang choirs. Haha! Just Look at this photo: s42.photobucket.com/user/gbpjpy/media/madz-ust.jpg.html
@milo8700 parang gusto ko na lang sabihin na ang difference eh dahil sa venue at quality ng microphone na ginamit. kasi yung arranger mismo ang conductor so more or less naayos niya na kung ano ung gusto niyang effect na kalabasan. :P
❤❤❤❤❤❤ galing!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
