The most similar product to this seems to be the Traxxas fiesta ST. When you compare what you get for the money it's not even close. $300 for the Rlaarlo fully rtr(minus AA) versus the Traxxas for $430 plus a minimum 2s battery and charger for around $80-$90 dollars. It brings me a lot of joy seeing Axial and Traxxas getting out done by companies like FMS, Rlaarlo, etc.
I just got mine the carbon version in the mail today that makes a total of eight from Rlaario so far and RC number 107 since June 15 of this year (yes I have videos up of all this craziness, having a blast)
Can’t wait to get mine. But I wish you would do a review of the Rlaarlo MK07 Pro (that’s the brushless version). I’ve heard more than a few people say it’s more capable than the Scx6 Honcho. It’s half the price. Everyone did reviews of the v1 brushed version and now no one is doing what amounts to the v2 which has a bunch of changes including 4s capable brushless with a 35km/h top speed (I think). Rally car looks dope though. Might go for the roller.
Adam, this may be the first go-fast rig I buy. Great video as usual. Would you mind sharing what you used for the POV camera? I want something similar for my channel.
Yeah, but we have been waiting for that for 6 or 7 years now.... Might as well buy something a little cheaper and have fun building it out by sourcing or fabricating until they finally catch up.
The only thing the world needs is a proper re-release of the HPI WR8 with Subaru sti body in bucky lasek design. But HPI does what it does best, screw up. Bring remaining stocks of the old Subaru onto the market without offering spare parts.Even the "parts finder" says 99% of the time "Sorry, unfortunately this is discontinued" The same with Team Asso, the main thing is to put out some hoonigan stuff for a short time because people are into it 🖕🏻
This thing is a street or lot ripper to get the most out of it . There’s too much flinging of rocks into the chassis where something will get lodged but that’s all other I guess . Someone will come up with something to alleviate the debris . We can make anything and make it work well . I guess a net would work 👍
The only thing that really interests me is how durable the tires are. After reviving my hpi wr8, I live up to the slogan "kill all tires". It is difficult to find durable wheels that do not cost a fortune . Rally replica from Ali 20€ 2-3 batteries on tar. Original hpi (if you can get some) 60€ 4-6 batteries. The only thing that lasted a long time was from absima, but this profile is no longer available and the rest is rubbish The only thing left is to buy cheap 1/10 buggy wheels, 3-4 batteries with grip and then drift until it breaks. Dboots were worn out on the tarmac race track even after 3 1/2- 4 batteries. I don't drive a crazy setup. Original pinion, original motor, hobbywing sc8 controller. 3s lipo. With all the offers at the moment, I should just buy two sets of tires to test 🤔
The Forb Siesta.. because they were caught sleeping on the livery of this one. 😅 Wish they would have paid the money to have it be licensed and took a page out of MJX's book (another cheaper "China RC" company trying to make it into the hobby scene) who has a licensed livery Citroen in their 1/14 scale rally car. I feel that would have been the right move and cherry on the top for it. Having a knock off monster energy livery, especially with such a well known vehicle and driver really gives this the cheap RC vibes that we always see on those cheap china RCs with the weird translations and words that make no sense on the sides. That being said, it looks rad and since it's based off the Terminator chassis it probably performs as well but just think they should have went with a different livery if they were going to be non licensed.
,please read,,, the car may be great, but rlaarlo as a company is horrible, from communication, shipping and support they are a 5% in my opinion, I have bought 2 of there rcs and both orders took for ever to arrive, and were complete nightmares. I would not recommend buying a rlaarlo untill local hobby stores sell them.

What's going to shock the rc world is when Kyosho releases it Suburu WRX and Datsun Brushless rally cars with all the upgraded bells and whistles.
New chassis?

Agreed. I will be taking it to the skate park soon for some mini hooning
The exhaust feature is pretty cool. But the turn signals gotta go! Hope Axle had a great birthday!
You can turn off the turn signals.
@ thank goodness!
Where’s mine at!

why not go to a baseball diamond ?

I'd pay an extra $50 for the licensing, probably more given the Ken Block nostalgia!
@CapeCrawlers completely agree, I think others would as well. Especially us Block fans. RIP 🙏
The body livery is a ripoff of the Ford Fiesta Valentino Rossi monza edition. So shameless...
The 2013 monza rally to be complete.
However, it's a bold, high-energy look for RC rally car.
Rlaarlo = Junk
Not really
Rlaarlo is my favorite😃,they are pretty good
