I bought a 2023 honda used with 650 miles. And i have one of the same connectors hanging from the underneath of the back of the bike ill have to dig into it and figure out where it goes im assuming maybe the previous owner installed one already?
Your right. If a dealer has a bike thats been sitting for months without it selling they will install the connector to avoid replacing the battery before it sells.
@MacrossGarage Indeed! No wasted words! Very easy to follow exactly what you did. "Iron Sharpens Iron!" Thanks again for "being a part of the solution!"
I've been riding all winter however this video is very informative. Thank you.

Thanks. Getting ready to remove my battery for the winter.

Tip for improving your videos, identify what size of tools you're using to remove a particular bolt, for example
Thanks for the tip. I use to do it. I will try to do it going forward.

If it’s the same connector it’s probably for the battery tender. Only to find out is to follow where it goes.
@@MacrossGarage yes I pulled the plastic off it's forsure for a battery tender
Nice, one less thing to do. Also sometimes dealers install these.

@@MichaelWhite-cx4hoThanks for the compliments.
But I already removed the passenger peg on that side🤣 Do you live were you winterize the bike? I'm in AK so it's a thing here.
I am from California so I don't really winterize. I do ride less in the winter and make sure my batteries are on tender.
