I love how your daughter is training the cats. It's a good idea to have cats, not just dogs, car, harness and cage trained. We live in a bushfire prone area in Australia and decided to train our cat in case we need to evacuate. My son used treats as a reward for the cat. It takes a lot of time but is worth it.

When we were kid's in high school (over 25 yrs ago😂) my cousin found a baby chipmunk in the tree in their yard. They waited for the mom but she never came, so they brought the chipmunk inside. It wasn't very old. My cousin and this chipmunk were inseparable. I remember he tried taking the chipmunk to school and once they got wind of the animal hiding in his pocket, they called my aunt and she had to come get the baby chipmunk. 😂😂😂😂 ahhh, fun memories. Eventually it got big enough to sleep outside on its own, and once winter came, it left and didn't come back.

I went to a couple of charity shops on Thursday for the first time in months and picked up a couple of amazing finds. It makes me so happy when i find things I need second hand so they get another chance at life.
We have 7 living children and have a thing for cups as well. I always look at thrift stores for them. 😊❤

Those binder clips i use to clip like chip bags or any food item that needs to be closed up, even bags of frozen vege's that have been opened they work great! And they are cheaper then bag clips

Lydia looked so cute in her blue shirt. And Everett was tearing that Apple up lol. Didn't understand all that Benjamin was saying but he was definitely talking about the baby. I have always loved thrift store shopping. I would rather get my clothes there than anywhere else. Yall got some great bargains. I love that your children get excited about shopping at the thrift store. Reminds me of my children when they were at home. It's a blessing when children are taught to be thankful for the things that the Lord has given to us no matter where it comes from. Too many children are not taught that and are caught up in the ways of the world. Your children are a joy to watch because they show a thankfulness for the things they receive. God bless each of you. Oh, my goodness! Just today my little granddaughter said, "Grandma, when you get old enough, I'm going to get you a pet squirrel!" I do love them!

I’m glad you found so many great deals!! My local elementary school had a ids resale over the weekend no I found a bunch of good deals! Some things were still brand new so I’m saving them for my niece and one thing for my daughter! We like games to so found some fun games for cheap! I have the game of life from when I was little the early 80’s version one of my favorites! I love to tye dye!! When we go up to my parents place in Wisconsin in the summer we usually have fun tye dyeing!! Glad you could save the baby squirrel hope you can release it when it gets bigger!

Aww my son brought home an orphaned squirrel. Surprise, they live for ten to fifteen years in captivity 🤣.
They will chew everything in the house too. Our squirrel, Bob, lived 15 years. If you keep it be sure it always has antlers for minerals and to wear down its teeth. Bob’s favorite food was Brazil nuts. They love to play wrestle too. Get used to being scratched up too, you become a tree and they love to jump 🤣
You are teaching your children thrift which is great.
that little 3D light that changes colors should have an insert of a character to light up when placed in the slot. a couple of my kids have those and one is a fox. they use them as night lights. I love your thrift hauls!

That squirrel takes me back to my young days-we found one-rescued it from our cat if I remember right. Dad built a large cage and when it was strong enough we were “encouraged “ to release it to the wilds. Sad day

Just be careful for bedbugs when buying used blankets and clothing. Wash thoroughly - or stick in the freezer for a week.

Are there other pieces in the boxes with the lights/remotes that the boys picked out? My kids have the same thing but they have "glass" shapes (cat, dog, soccer ball) that stick into that rectangle and the light lights up the shape.
Ahh! I wonder if that’s why they were 50 cents 😂 No shapes included… but they could probably make some!

We did get rid of the PO Box because the yearly fee for it was getting really high!
