I wore this out in public for the first time and I got a compliment. The lady said she smelled me from across the room. I was like yeaaah buddy. She asked for the name of it and I gave it to her. Why be a snob?

Having recently tried Afternoon Swim the projection and longevity is absolutely horrendous for the price point and amongst the other LV offerings. I get that fresh fragrances don't typically last the longest but it quickly fizzles out unless the person smelling it is literally on me. Perhaps it may be my body chemistry but other fresh fragrances that I own do quite well so it is a bit puzzling. A lot of sales associates and a few friends share the same sentiment so I am glad it worked out for you because this is a killer summer scent. The opening is amongst the best and most unique fresh fragrance's I have ever experienced with a "pool" like smell while mixing in that sweet citrus. A fun easygoing vibe is coming from this scent that reminds you of sitting along the water with a nice cocktail.
You are going nose blind! This is a powerhouse but the raw materials in this formula tends to make people to go nose blind. They smell you brother if not inbox me and I’ll research your batch number to make sure it’s authentic and buy it from you.
I just blind bought this after your and The Perfume Guy's recommendations...it is a great smelling fragrance....perfect mandarin orange note that doesn't go "floor cleaner" with an effervescent touch...it does seem light on me but I really like it regardless. My samples I chose were Météore and Au Hasard. Météore is a blue scent and Au Hasard is an obvious take on Santal 33. Not bad but Afternoon Swim takes the win.
Glad you didn't forget to mention LV bottles are refillable at the boutiques!!! I love Afternoon Swim!! Have you considered any of the offerings from Goldfield and Banks? Bohemian Lime is such a beautiful summer weather scent!!!
I just got my bottle this past weekend. Loving it! Its like a much more refined JImmy Choo Man Ice/Dior Homme Cologne. Definitely going to put a dent in it this summer.
Interesting, Tygar is Jacques last fragrance before going to LV.... but its L'immensite with grapefruit, ginger, dried woods, and ambroxan, They are almost identical only Tygar is heavier on the ambroxan and more of a statement maker where as L'Im is very smooth and a little more mature.
Can’t wait for your comparison video with the two Atelier Cologne scents. I wear Orange Sanguine every night to bed. Literally every single night. Also have Clementine California for sunny days lounging around the house. They don’t have much projection or longevity and are perfect for me at home. Regarding Louis Vuitton, I was at the boutique a few months back to sample their entire range and picked up bottles of Cactus Garden and L’immemsite. Almost added a bottle of Afternoon Swim to the purchase but still had a 10ml decant I was working through at home. Still on the fence about grabbing a bottle of it during my next visit to the mall. Your comparison review will help me for sure and can’t wait to watch it 👍🏼

Very similar to Tygar in the juicy quench vibe. AS has the best opening but I hate that designer aftershave vibe it has in it. I prefer Tygar because of that . But both are the closest in that juicy citrus vibes. Also dior homme cologne that no one mentions

Has anyone ever tried refilling their bottle with a different scent from the one originally in the bottle? I spoke to an LV advisor just now and they told me that they are only able to refill the bottle with the original scent, nothing else.
Elysium any day, afternoon swim is nice but basically a $80-100 cologne and the rest of what you pay for goes to LV bouchée pricing. This is basically an add-on purchase like belts and wallets for the husband after the wife spent thousands on a damn purse! 😂
