Washington and Lee U Tour - Lexington, Virginia

- Meander with us as we explore the campus of Washington and Lee University. It is a private liberal arts college in Lexington, Virginia. The classical school from which Washington and Lee descended was established in 1749. Walk the same ground that George Washington and Robert E. Lee strolled. This sequence was shot with a Canon HFS-100 and edited in Adobe Premier CS5.

What a magical place ! My son and I toured several prospective colleges and the minute we steeped on campus we were spellbound ! The other universities were special in their own way, but W and L stands alone.. a treasure. So hopeful this venerable institution will be part of his life in 2020.

I visited the University 2 years ago while on vacation I just love the structure of those buildings its so creative .

Looking back I see that I transcoded this video down to 6MBS from the 24MBS that I captured. Consider this operator error (ignorance), not Adobe or UA-cam. There are no campus buildings that date from the mid-1700s. Washington Hall dates from c1820.
The Confederate flags which once surrounded the recumbent statue of Lee were not original to the placement, but were added later at the behest of the CDC-their removal is OK with me.

the video quality is a little grainy even at 1080 hd. Is it because of youtube uploading process of adobe rendering.
Due to the apparent foundation of this college, I would never let my child attend! Way too liberal!
